(Q) Does he have symptoms of colitis; if so, how can it be
cured?
(A) Wherever there is the poor circulation, the poor
eliminations, of course symptoms of colitis are present.
Here, as we find, these are more in the upper part of
the alimentary canal. Hence that as indicated, almost in
opposition to that ordinarily given, - flush with the mineral
basis, see? then the vegetable, at least a day or so apart.
And then this should purify the system much better.
Give small doses, - a few drops of Glyco-Thymoline, in almost
all the water taken. This as an intestinal antiseptic will
keep down inflammation in colon.
(Q) What foods should he eat and what should he avoid?
(A) Fruits, vegetables and whole grain cereals.
(Q) How can he be cured from the habit of sucking his thumb?
(A) This can be done by suggestion, if they will take the
time to do so. As he goes to sleep, even though the thumb
is in the mouth, take the time - take it from the mouth and
suggest that the mind - suggest to the mind that he will not
do same. Don't abuse him - don't discourage him save by the
positive suggestion when he is going to sleep.
(Q) Any advice for those now rearing him will be
appreciated.
(A) Positive, loving counsel is worth more - much more than
the rod for this child; that he is to be not merely good but
good for something. Show appreciations for that which is of
a constructive nature, and he will desire more to do such.
We are through for the present.
