(Q) How soon should she go to work again?
(A) This will depend upon how much the body stands upon the
feet, and as to how well the reaction is from the Mullein
Tea.
If the feet and limbs give a great deal of trouble, apply
Mullein Stupes also to the limbs - which will reduce the
disturbance. Bruise the leaves, pour boiling water over
them to wilt them, and then apply to the limbs as a poultice.
On other parts of the body, when breaking out occurs, we find
that Resinol is the better ointment.
Then, of course, as an emollient, an equal combination of
Olive Oil and Peanut Oil would be well.
(Q) Is beer harmful?
(A) Very harmful for the body. For, the hops act upon the
glandular forces that are disturbing to the body; especially
the NEW - and so little is aged at present.
Especially the combinations of ale and beer are harmful.
Keep free from ANY carbonated waters, for the carbonations
cause an effluvium in the blood. To be sure, Coca-Cola
is helpful to the kidneys, but if taken, use the Coca-Cola
syrup in plain water - and this to the body will not be very
palatable.
We are through for the present.

BACKGROUND
Breaking out and terrible swelling and rawness of feet;
breaking out on neck, arms and legs. Some doctors say it
is athlete's foot, some eczema; none seem to know what is
causing it or what to do; been to Dr. Dormire and Dr. Taylor
at Virginia Beach. It occurred last summer also; been off my
feet several weeks now, unable to work.
REPORTS
11/11/40 Letter from Dr. C. W. Irvin to EC: "...Miss [
2332]
was one of the most remarkable cases I have ever treated.
You remember, of course, the condition of her feet and I
am frank to tell you that I was skeptical when I started
treating her, but after the fourth treatment her feet were
entirely well and up to a week ago, the last time I saw her,
they were perfectly normal..."
12/29/80 Letter from Rena L. Thompson:
"I have been helped greatly by a remedy of Dr. Cayce's that
I found in Edgar Cayce: The Sleeping Prophet by Jess Stearn.
I had terrible reddish brown spots on my neck & parts of my
back. I assumed they were Eczema or something like that. The
book said Dr. Cayce suggested rubbing the spots first with
Resinol and then Cuticura Ointment. I did & the spots
cleared up practically immediately. They seldom come back
and when they do the Resinol & Cuticura Ointment take care of
them right away."
