TEXT

1. EC: We have the body here, Mrs. [2361]. Now, we find general debilitation with specific conditions, basic condition produced from eliminations and disorders as arise from general functioning under such distresses, of long duration, and principally effects have been treated rather than the basic conditions. These have in part aided, in others brought other distresses, producing rather that of the complication of disorders.
2. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, Mrs. [2361] we are speaking of:
3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this shows the character of the disturbance in the eliminations, as does disorders in the kidneys and organs of eliminations there, as also liver and hepatic circulation. There is also seen in the extremities, and the plexus from which impulses radiate as regards circulation, the change of disorders as have been apparent and as are manifested.
4. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF ORGANS, these, as we find, are rather of a functional nature, though specific conditions exist in the dross portions, or soft tissue portions of the body, as is seen in throat, face, abdominal cavity (plural cavity) - ileum plexus especially.
5. In meeting the conditions as exist, we would find that under direct care and attention, that was systematically and consistently carried out, much improvement may be brought to the physical forces of the body.
6. The stress or dis-ease generally to the whole of the nerve system, or nerve systems, must be considered in bringing such relief, and for this we would give as this:

   Gum Camphor....................30 grains,

   Muriated Iron..................20 grains,
Sulphate Morphia..............1/2 grain.

Mix thoroughly together and make into 30 capsules, or pellets. It will be necessary to keep these in a cool dry place to prevent disintegration. We would give one of these morning and evening.
7. The body should rest considerably.
8. The eliminant as we would find, would be most effective, would be Citrocarbonate, with those of any intestinal antiseptic, such as Glyco-Thymoline, or any of the alkalin reacting stimuli.
9. Also be well that the diet be watched carefully. Well that at least 4 days of the citrous fruit eliminant diet be taken, though we would give with this - at least once or twice each day - those of the malted or dry milk with the yolk of an egg burned with a few drops of Spirits Fermenti, as a stimuli for the body.
10. We would also give, when there is sufficient strength, those of the sweat or the heat eliminants, that there may be the proper elimination set up through the capillaries. Also that the nerve systems and the lymphatic circulation may be stimulated, following such in HOT blankets with an OIL rubdown, or there may be used pure olive oil, 5 parts to 3 parts of the witch hazel. This will aid and stimulate the circulation.
11. After the 4 days diet we would give a GOOD eliminant in an increased amount of the Citrocarbonate, or of any that will stimulate the heart's action with the eliminating of and through the alimentary canal.
12. Following the sweats and the oil rubs, each day it would be well for the gentle massage over the whole system - especially stimulating the cerebro-spinal and in those centers radiating to the locomotaries - arms, limbs, and especially the lower abdomen.
13. Do that. PREFERABLY this be under and in SOME place where these may be carried out systematically. Ready for questions. We are through for the present.

REPORTS

1. 2/01/30 Brother's letter:

Att. Sara C. Likinson (?), Secy.
   My Dear Miss Likinson.
Your form of Jany 28/30 has been received.
It is with much sorrow that I answer same by saying that my darling sister Mrs. [2361] passed away on Jany 12/30.
We did not follow Mr. Cayce's suggestion as the doctors we submitted the reading to said that the reading was so vague and so mixed up that they could not make head or tail out of it & one of the doctors who you know said not to use the remedy.
If when I wrote you in September that my sister was suffering intently [intensely?] & asking if the reading could not be advanced to an earlier date than Nov 26, something might have been done for her, but you answered that it couldn't be done unless she went to your hospital; I then had to have other advice.
   Yours very truly [...]
