TEXT

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2368].
3. As we find, the physical forces of the body are in the developing stage. While apparently there are the pathological disturbances, these as we find are rather of the latent developing nature; owing to the very NATURE of the vibrations upon which the body-functioning vibrate.
4. We find that there should come very soon the normal reactions to the hindered perceptions in the activity of the sensory organism; provided the general health is kept close to normal, with plenty of physical or bodily exercise, and with the full adjusting of the cerebrospinal centers from which impulses arise for nerve reactions, - especially in the 1st and 2nd cervical, and the 2nd and 3rd dorsal; with the building up of the glandular forces.
5. In analyzing the disturbances with this body, these from the pathological and psychological angles would be most interesting to those studying the relationships of the physical, the mental and the SPIRITUAL attributes of the body; for these in part are what are called - by some - karmic conditions, or the individual entity is meeting its own problems, as well as making those influences in the environs such that others meet same also.
6. But, do not overstimulate the thyroids; else we may make for an aggravation in the temperament of the body, as to become a hindrace.
7. We would stimulate those centers indicated, that will have more direct influence - developing influence - upon the vocal as well as hearing activity TO the sensory forces of this body.
8. These developments we would have REGULARLY, and as we find such as Bragg - in this same environment of Los Angeles - with the physical development and foods that are indicated through that type of treatment - would be MOST beneficial for this body.
9. Ready for questions.
10. (Q) Do you mean that Bragg is the one to make the adjustments in the cerebrospinal system?
    (A) Rather to govern or guide the exercise, and naturally will make the adjustments there also.
11. (Q) Should the treatment for thyroid deficiency be continued?
    (A) As indicated, if the diet is followed as would be indicated through the Bragg treatment, discontinue same.
12. (Q) Should he continue going to school practising the Motto Kinaesthetic Method.
    (A) If it is desired that this be a part of the development, well. It will NOT be necessary, if there are some six to ten weeks of this Bragg treatment as we have indicated.
13. We are through for the present.

Two copies to Mrs. [2331] (one for those who are to administer the Bragg treatment)
    Copy to Ass'n file
Extra copy grandmother, 7/13/43, made by B. C.
(9/26/40 GD's note: We have never heard of the Bragg treatment before; we do not know whether is the name of a man, a school, or what. It may not even be spelled this way. If and when you find out anything about it, will you please let us know?
One of our groups in Norfolk, studying spiritual healing, is getting a series of Readings on Glands, [See [281] series] copies of which we will gladly send you as they are obtained - if you would be interested in making this study with us.)

BACKGROUND

1. 9/14/40 Grandmother [2331]'s letter, without knowledge of parents, requesting reading: "The trouble with the child is that he will NOT SPEAK. He is undergoing a treatment for thyroid deficiency - and goes to school practising the Motto Kinaesthetic Method. His mental development is slow but not arrested." [Born 1/22/37, 7:15 A.M. in Los Angeles, California.]

REPORTS

1. 7/07/43 Grandmother [2331] requested a copy of 2368-1, saying: "I am in Calif. and am doing some research on my grandson's condition... I am leaving Calif. at the end of this month and am very anxious to be able to do the necessary research before I leave. I will let you know the outcome, as I think it might interest you."
2. 7/13/43 EC had Betty Corson type up a copy of 2368-1 and it was sent to the grandmother.
3. 3/12/71 Evelyn Bowling, Speech Pathologist, wrote from Calif. that she felt sure the Bragg mentioned in Par. 10-A refers to Paul C. Bragg, N.D., Ph.T., of HEALTH SCIENCE in London, England, Burbank, Calif., Sydney, Australia, who was in Calif. at the time of the rdg. and has written so many books on health and physical fitness.
