(Q) What is the cause and relief for the condition of my
stomach, especially in regard to the nausea and blood
discharge?
(A) This as we find is superacidity, and those tendencies
for lacerations in the stomach itself - in the cardiac
portion as well as in parts of the lower duodenum or pylorus
portion.
We would keep the diets that are the more easily assimilated;
also taking those properties that tend to create more normal
lacteal balances in the stomach itself - that is: Use
ALCAROID as an assistant in digesting; and this should be
taken at least twice each day, or when the meals are taken, -
about half a teaspoonful dissolved first in a small quantity
of water, then the glass filled, and then another glass of
water taken afterwards.
Also about twice a week we would take a teaspoonful of Milk
of Bismuth and ten drops of Elixir of Lactated Pepsin stirred
together in a full glass of water.
(Q) What is cause and cure for conditions in my right ear
and chest?
(A) These are a part of the reflex conditions from those in
the shoulder and structural portion of the body. With the
corrections of these, then the helpful conditions will come
here also.
(Q) Please advise me and my doctor (Dr. Curtis Hudgins) in
regard to treating my ribs that have a tendency to slip out
of place?
(A) As indicated, strap 'em! Then after a week to ten days,
release keeping up the massage; and then strap again.
(Q) What can I do to bring about a more harmonious condition
in my home?
(A) Create the harmonious condition within self! Reflect
same in the relationships to others, - this we find would
bring the better and the more harmonious conditions in the
home.
(Q) How can I best help my mother?
(A) These, of course, become questions and problems, because
of individualities; but living and being that which is the
ideal within the self is the best help one may give another.
For you cannot live the life for others, nor do their
thinking for them!
(Q) Should I remain at the place I am now living, ..., or
move?
(A) If practical, we would remain.
(Q) If necessary to move, in what part of the city would it
be best for me to go?
(A) That must be chosen by self.
(Q) What should be my life's work?
(A) This may be more apparent from the combinations of the
life's activities, than from a physical approach; but as we
find, that in which there is a SEMBLANCE or direct activity
in SUPPLYING helpful influences in the lives or associations
of others. Then, either as a teacher or as a minister to
those individuals less fortunate than self, or in making for
entertainments for others, or as an inn keeper or the like.
(Q) How may I best be able to meet my obligations
financially?
(A) These must be applied first spiritually, mentally, and
the right thinking, if there will be brought better
conditions. These must be within self and not from others.
(Q) Please give me some spiritual advice?
(A) KNOW thy ideal; not what others should do for you, but
what you may do for others, - physically, mentally,
spiritually.
Then, study to show self approved unto that ideal; never
condemning others. For, the law is, that if ye would not be
condemned, condemn not!
(Q) Please give me an affirmation.
(A) MAY MY GOING IN, MY COMING OUT, BE WHOLLY ACCEPTABLE IN
THY SIGHT, MY LORD, MY REDEEMER! NOT MY WILL BUT THINE BE
DONE IN AND THROUGH ME. AND MAY I SO LIVE MY OWN LIFE THAT
OTHERS MAY BE INFLUENCED TO GLORIFY THEE.
We are through for the present.
