Mr. [

Cleveland, Ohio
Dear Mr. [
2430]:
Your letter of the 29th addressed to Dr. Richardson of
Norfolk has been sent to me for answer.
I am sorry that you do not find it possible to come to Dr.
Richardson. As you notice, the Reading indicated that a rest
from your work would also be beneficial in connection with
the treatments recommended.
The answers to your questions regarding the length of time
involved would have to be given by the physician after he
examines you. As I understand it, various osteopathic
surgeons have various methods.
I am giving you the names of two such physicians in
Cleveland, as we have had two people go to them who were not
able to come to Dr. Richardson. However, we do not know
either of these men and cannot recommend them. I suggest
that you go and talk to one or the other, or both, and use
your own judgment about taking the treatments. One of these
doctors so discouraged the lady who went to him that she did
not feel able to go ahead with his treatments. The other
one, I understand, is still treating the patient who went to
him...and we don't have a final report on the case as yet.
Dr. R. D. Voorhees and Dr. Clarence V. Kerr
both of 1220 Huron Road, The Cleveland Osteopathic Clinic.
Trusting you will let us know your decision in the matter,
and that your results will prove worth while, I am
Sincerely,
[signed] Gladys Davis
Secretary to Mr. Cayce
P.S. I'd like to say that we think Dr. Richardson is the
best man in this particular field of treating.
