This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 18th day of April, 1941, in accordance with request made by the daughter - Miss [2268], Associate Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions he has submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes.
3. As we find, there is not a great deal of change since last we had the body here. There HAVE been periods when there was much improvement; and then the great anxiety, or a general upsetting tends to bring about more strain and nervous reactions.
4. Not altogether is the application made in the best manner for the body. We would make thorough, deeper massage with Peanut Oil along the spine. Do not give this just to get through with it. Take the time to massage all that the body will absorb of the Peanut Oil. Pour the oil in a saucer, dipping the ends of the fingers in same and massaging along the spine, especially in those areas at the back of the neck and between the shoulders, and then across the area at the 9th dorsal and at the 4th lumbar.
5. THEN, following such a massage, apply the electrically driven vibrator; using the cup applicator to DRAW the circulation to those areas in which the application is made, so that the absorbing of the oil has a better distribution through the general muscular as well as regular circulation. Do not just lightly pass the cup applicator over the body, but use it in such a manner as to draw the circulation to the areas. This, we find, will materially aid if applied in this way and manner.
6. Then the other general applications we would keep, as to diet, as to outward activity.
7. Walk in the open when practical, each day some, see?
8. Ready for questions.
9. (Q) Why no improvement in elimination?
   (A) This is just lack of coordinating the physical and the imaginative or general eliminating system.
   We would add the enemas; not colonics but enemas, - and these will clear or purify the system.
10. (Q) Is there any need for a change of glasses?
    (A) As yet, no - if there is given the full application of the vibrator and massage in the manner indicated.
11. (Q) Should the same medicines be continued?
    (A) Keep all of that as given, save the change in the manner of applying the massage and the vibrator.
