3/15/44 EC's letter to [

Mrs. [

..., Florida
Dear Mr. & Mrs. [
2454]
Thank you for your letter of the 9th and for the contribution
to the Living Sponsorship Fund.
Well, I'm not very much account. Had a very nice trip to
Florida and a nice little visit with Mr. Sugrue and his
friends and then came on to DeLand and had a nice visit with
my sister and her husband. Came home feeling pretty fair,
and then the whole works seemed to explode in my face. I
have been struggling with myself ever since. Haven't been
able to give a reading now for three or four weeks. In fact,
I believe we only got in about three days of readings through
the whole month of February, and of course have given none in
March as yet. I hope to undertake a reading for myself this
afternoon. Maybe I'll find out when I will be able to get
back to work and what to do with this carcass of mind
[mine?].
Yes as I came through ... I wondered if you have gotten
settled yet. Was only there for about fifteen or twenty
minutes. I am sure from observation, as well as hearsay,
Florida must indeed be crowded. Every town throughout the
state is flooded with people. I am in hopes that you will
get straightened out and things will go along alright very
soon.
We haven't even had any Tuesday night meetings for many weeks
now. I hope we may have a meeting this evening. I am sure
that would make me feel better to see some of the group here.
We will be missing you.
Please remember me to Mr. [
2746] and with love from all to
you and yours, I remain
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce CC/gm
