1/30/51 Letter from [
2470] to GD: "...I am returning
herewith your office copy which you so generously and kindly
sent to me sometime ago. I had put it away so carefully that
it escaped my attention. I had already applied some of the
remedies advised, and tried some others, but without avail.
I had had X-Rays, Chiropractor treatments, etc. so finally,
in desperation, went to Baltimore, and there was the answer.
I had felt impressed, all along, to go, but trying to spare
the heavy expenditure it would entail, but in the long run
made cost much more in time, money and uncomfortableness.
But, Dr. Allen found the cause and remedy. He is really
fine. On the Staff of Hopkins. [Arthritis Abs.]
My very best to you, and come and see us some time... You
should see our twins [[
1519]'s children]. These are such
busy, troublous days, such as we have long known would
overtake us. Sometimes in the quiet - I feel Mr. Cayce's
presence so near."
11/15/69 Mrs. [
2470] died, at age 80.
