INTO THE UNKNOWN
In conversation with a friend of mine, some weeks ago, he
told me of the most remarkable experience that he had had
with one who is sometimes called a psychist. The things he
told me about this person giving him information regarding
his characteristics, former appearances in the earth plane,
and of INFLUENCES or URGES that had to do, or to bear, on the
present life, seemed so uncanny; yet I felt that my friend
was not lacking in the "upper story", but were not these
vague tales he was telling me?
Having read and studied of various forms and manifestations
of such phenomena, and feeling that I wouldn't be so easily
fooled, I determined to see what was in this. Upon entering
the abode of this unassuming man, I was met by a very
pleasant but unimposing individual. I made known to him my
wishes and desires, from what I had heard. he only asked me
where I was born, when I was born, and the name given me at
birth, and this is what he handed me. I saw it taken down
in shorthand, as he gave it, and heard it. As I read same, I
recognize it as just the words I heard. Now, have I fooled
myself, or is it not true that "Truth is stranger than
fiction"? for I feel within that everything I have been told
is true, and I thank my friend for having brought me in touch
with what appears to me to be such a wonderful phenomena, and
a source of help to many seeking to know themselves; for this
is an actual experience, and NOT fiction.
