GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2489].
As we find, conditions may easily become very serious. For, there are those tendencies for disturbance that might easily - with overtaxation, either physical, mental or emotional - cause a flooding of the circulation in heart and lungs, as to be very disturbing.
There are sources that exist, though, as we find, the reduction of which - or their inclinations - might avert the greater disturbances. The allowing of these to continue will continue to cause those expressions in the expansions of the heart, as to cause it to be out of proportion. And then this same condition causes the disturbance in circulation between liver and kidneys; leaving poisons of the uric acid nature in the system.
But as we find, in the ascending colon there is a plethoric condition that causes the extension even of the abdominal area, and naturally a prolapsus in the lower part of the descending colon. This pressure causes the slowing of the circulation between liver and kidneys. It also causes a pressure that tends to fill the aorta artery to such an extent as to cause the thrombose to be more oft too full. This gives the shortness of breath, as well as the fullness about the heart.
As we find, - we would have a series of colonic irrigations, properly given, so as to disseminate this plethoric condition. The frequency of these colonics will depend upon how well the body responds to them. Be careful in the first two or three, and these should be at least ten days apart, as to the heart activity - during the first attempts to eliminate the accumulations; and don't try to take it all out at once! These colonics if not given properly and scientifically had better not be given at all! So have them given by one well versed in such, and by one that would pay attention to the reflex actions upon the body, and the heart. And be careful that there is given sufficient stimuli in the last waters, as in such as agar (Petrolagar), or Glyco-Thymoline as an antiseptic; so that there will be not too much strain on the body when these are given; else we may have a collapse.
Also we would have a good osteopathic relaxation of the secondary cardiac areas, stimulating the circulation through the lower portion of the abdominal area; that is, relaxing the upper dorsal area and stimulating from the 9th dorsal downward, see?
Doing these, we should relieve a great deal of this condition.
Beware of too much starches in the diet. Beware of too much sweets.
Do these, and we should make for better conditions, but it will require precaution on the part of the body; not overexertion, resting plenty, but having sufficient activity to keep normalcy through the system.

(Q) Should I have a strict outline of diet, or just beware of the things indicated?
(A) Just avoid those things indicated.
And don't ever eat too much! Better get up from the table hungry than to be hungry a long time without being able to eat!
