This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Ass'n, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 4th day of June, 1941, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [2491], Associate Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Present: Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mrs. [2491], her sister and niece.

TEXT

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2491]; this we have had before.
3. As we find, there are improvements in the general physical forces. While there is still much to be desired, the conditions ARE responding to the applications that have been made.
4. We would alter these somewhat in the present.
5. There should be the continuation of the low electrical forces that have been indicated. These are helpful to the body. Change the Gold and the Atomidine solutions after every fifteen treatments with each. Change the charging solution every thirty days.
6. Also, about twice each week, there should be administered small quantities of calcium as an added vital energy, that may be - now - better assimilated with the changing of the activities and vibrations through the body. This calcium we would give in the form of CALCIOS; spreading a small quantity - as buttered on - to cover a whole wheat cracker, - twice each week.
7. Now we would also have osteopathic adjustments about twice each week; these taken for three weeks, left off for three weeks, and then taken again. These should be particularly in those areas for the locomotories, or the lumbar axis and sacral, with the 9th dorsal coordinated; and then the brachial centers and the coordinating of the cervicals and vegetative centers through and with same.
8. The rest we would keep as has been indicated.
9. Ready for questions.
10. (Q) How long should the wet cell Appliance be continued?
    (A) As long as it is necessary, - whether it's a week, a day or a year! Dependent upon the reactions obtained! These vibrations are helpful, and changes are being made through these. Use them consistently for at least another six to eight weeks!
11. (Q) What is the cause and relief for the frequent nausea? and trembling in stomach?
    (A) The lack of the abilities of the nerve forces to coordinate with those reflexes as arise from the impulses in the cerebrospinal system. Hence the needs of the nerve ganglia being stimulated osteopathically for this coordination.
12. (Q) Why do I have such quick changes in my feeling?
    (A) Improvements, and then inability f the system to carry the impulses all the way through. Thus the needs for those conditions indicated, and the changes in the chemical reactions also.
13. (Q) What causes the apparent inability to evacuate naturally?
    (A) The natural results of those conditions as indicated; the lack of muscular reactions in portions of the body, or peristaltic movements through the whole of the alimentary canal. These, too, will be changed by the osteopathic adjustments and the stimulations as indicated.
14. (Q) Is Inner Clean a good laxative for me? If not, please suggest one.
    (A) Inner Clean is very good, but it is rather severe upon the system in the present. The alternation of oils with a mineral would be better. Use, then, small quantities of Olive Oil often - half to a teaspoonful three to four times a day; and once each day, preferably in the evening, take at least two teaspoonsful of Nujol or Russian White Oil; and then a MILD stimulation of mornings as from Eno Salts or Sal Hepatica.
15. (Q) Do I have hardening or filling of the arteries?
    (A) No. As indicated, it is rather the muscular forces - from the lack of the proper balance in the chemical forces in the muscular tissue.
16. (Q) What is the cause and relief for weak spells?
    (A) As indicated, the inability of coordination. Use those things suggested.
17. (Q) Why loss of appetite, and chilling quickly?
    (A) All of these arise from the same sources.
18. (Q) When should I begin to feel definite improvements?
    (A) About the second or third of the osteopathic adjustments.
19. (Q) Should any change be made in diet?
    (A) Only the seasonal changes. Now use, of course, more of the fresh than the old vegetables, and the like.
20. (Q) May anything further be done to correct acid condition of mouth, which still remains the same?
    (A) Better eliminations; and these will come about by the activities indicated for same
21. (Q) Should Upjohn's Citrocarbonate be continued?
    (A) As indicated, all others are to be continued - the rubs also.
22. (Q) Please give me some spiritual advice.
    (A) Use the conditions that appear in the present not as hindrances, nor as for feeling sorry for self, but know rather that in suffering - even as He - patience is gathered. And as there are the abilities for the greater and better activities, use same in the greater constructive ways and manners.
Let thy prayer be, though - to be sure - in thy own words:
HERE AM I, O LORD! USE THOU ME IN THE WAYS AND MANNERS AS THOU SEEST FIT; THAT I, THY SERVANT, MAY BE A GREATER CHANNEL OF BLESSINGS TO OTHERS. I TRUST IN THY PROMISES, THROUGH JESUS, THE CHRIST, FOR HEALTH, JOY AND HAPPINESS. KEEP ME IN THAT WAY.
23. We are through for the present.

Calcios is manufactured by The Colloidal Health Products Corp., Atten. A. A. Nichoson, Greenvale, L.I. It is a syrupy paste that sells for $2.50 a jar. The Readings say it is the best way of assimilating free calcium.)
