TEXT

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2499]; this we have had before.
3. While there have been some improvements, we find that also there have been some retardments; and, in the main, not a great deal of helpful experience has yet come to this body.
4. As was indicated in the beginning, it will require time, patience, persistence, and a great deal of conscious effort on the part of the body, if there will be the gaining or the maintaining of a great deal of material aid.
5. There is the necessity of the very close adherence to all those applications as we have suggested for improvement, if this will be gained or maintained to any degree.
6. In the circumstances, we would continue keeping close tab on the diet, continuing with the massages and rubs with the oils that may aid the body to gain better control or better use of the limbs. Also these will aid in the system's being able to assimilate, from the foods taken, proper elements that may create a balance in the system.
7. And there needs to be kept a great deal better eliminations from the system. The poor eliminations, of course, are the influences that cause the setbacks. Use Tartaric Acid compacts over the abdomen. And, almost daily if it is necessary, use the high enemas to eliminate the poisons from the system. To have the stimulation for better elimination by either the osteopath corrective measures or massages and not have the eliminations produces greater strain - upon the hands, the limbs, the extremities of the body.
8. In the present we would make these changes, then: On gauze, use a very thin - VERY thin layer of the Tartaric Acid. Then put a damp, warm cloth over same - after it has been applied, you see. This is not to remain too long, of course - also we may have reactions that would be TOO severe, - but for at least ten to fifteen minutes, over the main cloth placing dry cloths, of course, to prevent soiling the linen. But do this at least so that there is the good elimination or evacuation EVERY DAY, - whether this becomes necessary once a day or three times a week.
9. Also the oil rubs and the Castor Oil Packs may be used at times over the abdomen and colon area as an aid to eliminations, in addition to the other areas for same. But DO cleanse the system.
10. Use also the Wet Cell Appliance carrying three solutions, alternating the attachments from day to day; one day using the Gold Solution (in the proportions of one grain Chloride of Gold to each ounce of Distilled Water - and use at least three ounces of the solution), the next day using the Spirits of Camphor (commercial strength), the next day using the Atomidine solution (in the proportions of one ounce of Atomidine to two ounces of Distilled Water).
11. The Appliance would be attached each day for thirty minutes, as follows:
12. The first day, when using the Gold Solution, - attach the small copper plate to the lumbar area, and the nickel plate (through which the Gold Solution passes vibratorially) to the umbilical and lacteal duct plexus.
13. The next day, when the Camphor is used, - attach the small copper plate to the 9th dorsal, and the nickel plate, through which the Camphor passes vibratorially, to the umbilical and lacteal duct plexus.
14. Next day, when using the Atomidine, - the copper plate would be attached to the 2nd dorsal center, while the nickel plate would still be attached to the umbilical and and lacteal duct plexus.
15. Continue rotating the attachments in this manner. Keep the plates very clean. Have the recharges every thirty days.
16. Do these for the full three months. If these are kept we should find help. If these are neglected, - not so good.
17. Ready for questions.
18. (Q) Do canned blackberries disagree or go against her?
    (A) These tend to produce a character of acid that prevents best eliminations. Raspberries would be better, or peaches.
19. (Q) Any other suggestions regarding diet?
    (A) Keep close to those foods that have been indicated that carry a great deal of the vitamins, especially B-1. Hence lots of citrus fruits of all kinds, lots of the reinforced cereals, - especially cooked cereal, as whole wheat or whole oats - these, of course, rolled or cracked or crushed. But do not give the citrus fruits AND the grains at the same meals, or even on the same days. Rather alternate these.
20. (Q) Should the Sal Hepatica be continued?
    (A) If it becomes necessary to have better eliminations, use same. But DO have eliminations daily. When it is necessary, use the colonic irrigation, see?
21. (Q) Can she ever be able to use her right hand to eat and write with?
    (A) This depends upon whether there are the consistent applications made of those things suggested.
22. We are through with this Reading.

REPORTS

1. 8/23/43 Mother's letter: "As you remember you gave my daughter, [2499], some readings. For a while we thought they helped some, but she became discouraged and didn't take the last treatment. I don't know just how much I spent, but I wouldn't have regretted it had it helped.
"I am once again coming to you with another daughter, [3283], for help."
