1/20/42 "Mr. Cayce, my six weeks was up yesterday, so am
writing you for a check reading. I haven't been feeling
so well lately. We have had some terrible below zero weather
and don't know but what that is the reason. I do hope this
reading will be a little fuller than the last. I was
somewhat disappointed in the last one because several
questions that I asked were not answered. I'm sure you
didn't feel them important or they would have been answered.
"My knees are giving me just about all my trouble. The
blisters behind my knees just will not heal. We have tried
everything you have told us. Bathing with Cuticura soap,
then applying with carbolated oil seems to have the best
results. However, they look real good one day then maybe
the next they will be red and running again. It is so
discouraging to doctor and doctor and see no results
whatsoever.
"As a whole my skin looks so much better. The hard places
are all breaking up and becoming so much softer. I do so
wish I could get the back of my knees well so the back of
my knees could be rubbed, thus getting my knees straightened
out. It is terrible not to be able to get about.
"I have tried so hard to do everything you have told me.
But I just wonder if I have failed in any way?"
