3/19/30 [
2519]'s letter to EC:
..., Ohio
My dear Mr. Cayce:-
I realize we have been rather negligent in writing you since
my return home. I have had such an awful time with the pain
along my right side, that I have been rather lazy, manage to
get [
1180]'s breakfast and pack his lunch, and the rest of
the time I have been having to lie down. When I came home
I had planned on doing a lot of work, I started out alright,
but I soon found out I could not stand it. I feel much worse
when I am on my feet a great deal.
I am sorry I did not get to see you again and bid you
good-bye before I started home. I had intended to stay until
your return from New York but when I did not know how long
you would be away, I thought it best to start home as [
1180]
thought it was about time I was on my way.
I certainly hated to leave, every one there seemed so near to
me, it seemed like leaving home. I shall always have a warm
place in my heart, for the Cayce Hospital, and every one
there. Of course it seemed good to get home again and [
1180]
was certainly glad to see me, as he had quite a time while I
was out there, he was sick and could hardly get around, and
here all by himself. He was hurt out at the well and it
caused his feet and legs to swell, he would not write me
about it as he thought that would be that much more for me
to worry about.
We both, hope to see you all some time this summer I am glad
to hear that the work there is going along so nicely. [
1180]
would like very much to have a reading, before he finishes
this well, as he does not know what is the best for him to do
then, providing he don't get production in this well. I hope
it will be convenient for you to get it in soon as he feels
that it would direct him right.
Have you started your new building yet? Suppose you have
the garage completed by this time. We are having nice spring
weather here trees are budding, lawns are green, and some of
the Easter flowers are in bloom. Remember me to all as not
a day goes by but what I have all the folks there on my mind,
and I am always anxious to hear from those having treatment
and to know that they are improving.
With love to all, and
Best personal wishes to you, I am
Sincerely, [
2519]
Would like to hear from you when you have time.
4/16/30 See
2519-7.
