TEXT

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2528].
3. As we find, there are disturbing conditions that prevent the better physical functionings through the body. These are deep-seated in some directions, and should have had much more consideration before this.
4. But if there is the consistent and persistent application of those things as we will suggest, we find that a great deal of the disturbances may be removed and there may be a great deal yet accomplished in those directions that have been a part of the entity's purpose in this experience.
5. Much might be said as respecting this entity's attitude toward life and life's experiences. While some may be condemned by a few, would that there were more with that helpful outlook, that ideal which has prompted the activities of this entity.
6. Many would benefit by practising those purposes that have been a part of this entity in its relationships to Creative Forces.
7. But as for the physical, - that this purpose, this mental and spiritual attitude towards its fellow man may have the greater opportunity for further and even greater functioning in this experience:
8. These are the conditions as we find them, of which the body should take warning, and the manner in which there may be brought about helpful influences.
9. First, in the blood supply, - we find indications of those disturbances gradually being builded in the organs, that bring constantly an upsetting in the abilities of the body to assimilate properly.
10. Hence we find that there is a torpidity in the liver that is disturbing the whole CENTRAL blood supply. This is producing a character of impoverishment that may eventually bring a form of cirrhosis of the liver itself with which it would be hard to deal.
11. This not only affects the functioning of the other organs, as the lower hepatic circulation (the kidneys), but the metabolism and katabolism of the nervous system as related to heart and lungs.
12. Not that there is organic disturbance in either of these (the heart or the lungs), but sympathetic conditions are producing those reactions that are distressing there; through the high nervous forces of the body, aided and abetted by the physical condition and the natural tendencies of an emotional body, causing impoverishment.
13. Then, in the nervous system, - we find in the central nervous system there are reflexes from the disturbance in the liver, the gall duct area, and the activity of the pancreas is becoming involved. These naturally produce strain upon all portions of the functioning system; yet we find that these at times are well controlled by the mental activity. Again the body becomes so overtired, physically and mentally, as to produce the feeling at times of almost "giving up".
14. These are the sources, the natures of the disturbances as we find them here with this body, [2528] we are speaking of.
15. In going about, then, to meet these, - all of the disturbances, as well as the mental and physical reactions, must be taken into consideration.
16. While these applications may at times appear to be rather severe, we find that they will be most efficient and efficacious in bringing bettered conditions, - if they will be followed consistently and persistently.
17. First, we would begin with applying hot Castor Oil Packs for an hour each day for three days in succession out of each week. Apply these over the liver, the gall duct and the caecum area, - or from the lower portion of the ribs on the right side, across the abdomen, almost entirely over, and extending to the lower portion of the groin on the right side. Put these on warm, not hot. Use at least three thicknesses of flannel saturated in the Castor Oil, not just poured on but saturating the flannel and wringing it out of the hot oil. Then apply an electric pad. After the heat has raised, turn to low but keep on for an hour.
18. Then sponge off the areas, preferably with a little soda water.
19. After this has been done an hour each day for three days, - then at the end of the third day take internally two tablespoonsful of Olive Oil; not a tablespoonful and a half, not one tablespoonful, but TWO tablespoonsful of Olive Oil.
20. Then the same three days of the next week repeat the whole procedure, - the Packs, followed by the Olive Oil at the end of the third day.
21. The next week do the same. Follow the same procedure three days out of each week for THREE weeks, see?
22. Then begin with the use of the Radio-Active Appliance each evening when ready to retire, for an hour.
23. Also begin then with osteopathic adjustments, - having at least eight to ten of these, - with special reference to draining the gall duct area.
24. Through the periods of taking the Packs, or just after the first and second series, and even after the third, it will be necessary to have some enemas or high colonics to remove the poisons from the system. This will aid in establishing better activities through assimilation.
25. As for foods, - we should supply plenty of the vitamins that aid in body, blood and nerve building. For a tonic, we would take ADIRON; in the beginning one pellet at the heavier meal, but do not begin this until after the three periods of the Oil Packs are given. Begin with the Adiron rather when the osteopathic adjustments and the Radio-Active Appliance are started. There is the correct balance of vitamins in Adiron as needed for the body; as well as the necessary elements for blood supplying through foods. These are preferably the DON'TS:
26. Do not take fried foods. All of the vegetables should be cooked in their OWN juices, and NOT with fats.
27. The meats should consist principally of fish, fowl and lamb, but never ANY of these fried.
28. DO NOT take carbonated waters, nor any drinks made or combined with same, - especially through those periods that the Oil Packs are given or the osteopathic adjustments - when the gall duct and the area is stimulated to activity.
29. Begin early in the diet to add especially Jerusalem Artichoke to one meal about once a week. This carries sufficient of the insulin to stimulate the activity between the pancreas and liver secretions, and the kidneys, so as to reduce the heaviness that occurs at times across the small of the back, and the periods when the whole of the outer skin feels as if pulsating - or as if there are the pumping motions through the body.
30. Do these. Be consistent, be persistent, and we will bring the bettered conditions for this body.
31. In the mental attitude, the mental and spiritual purposes, hold fast to thy faith in man and God. These are a part of thine own experience.
32. Ready for questions.
33. (Q) Who would you suggest to make the osteopathic adjustments?
    (A) Anyone who is in sympathy with the suggestions indicated. For, these will be found to be the disturbances. DO NOT give this body electrical treatments that are of ANY form outside the body, see?
34. We are through for the present.

(See directions [which were enclosed] for preparing Castor Oil Packs.
See directions [which were enclosed] for using Radio-Active Appliance. When you are ready for this, you may be able to rent one from Miss Esther Wynne, 2709 Lafayette Blvd., Norfolk, Va., Phone 35321.
See directions [which were enclosed] for Osteopath. We would refer you to Dr. M. L. Richardson, Bankers Trust Bldg., Norfolk, Va.
ADIRON is manufactured by the Lawrence Laboratories, Chicago, Ill. It may be secured from Burrow-Martins or from Meredith's, 17th St., Va.Beach. According to the Readings it is the best balanced vitamin tablet on the market.
If the Jerusalem artichoke is not on the market, you can order it by the pound from the John A. Salzer Seed Co., LaCrosse, Wis. Mr. Cayce has some planted, but it will not be good until fall.)

REPORTS

1. 7/06/41 Remarks: Feels the reading hit the nail on the head. Doctors haven't been able to find anything wrong, - say my completely fagged out feeling is caused by mental strain. Mrs. [2794] says she was considering Dr. Frischkorn for the osteopathic treatments, and the Reading seemed to "catch" her thought because it warned of giving electrical treatments, in which Dr. F. specializes. I suggested she go to a real osteopath, for the gall duct drainage treatments, as Dr. F. is a naturopath. GD
2. After following the treatments - just about the end of the round of suggested applications, Mr. [2528] was in an auto accident and almost killed; for days didn't think he was going to live; then he rallied and was finally able to go home from the hospital, if he'd take things easy.
