This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 20th day of July, 1941, in accordance with request made by the self through mother - Mrs. [...], new Associate Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., recommended by Mr. Cayce's talk at the McAlpin.

TEXT

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions that may be asked:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [2539].
3. As we find, there are those conditions rather as tendencies which if taken in time may be corrected so as to prevent a great deal of disturbance later on.
4. Much will have to do with the mental attitude of the body and its ideals and purposes that are a part of the whole physical being.
5. These are tendencies and conditions as we find them with this body, [2539]:
6. The blood supply indicates that there are tendencies which at times hinder the activity of the glandular forces as related to the eliminations. These especially are effective through the activities of the organs of the genitive system. These are just tendencies in the present but may grow to be of real disturbance. And this is a lacking of the vital energies as supplied through the glandular system to the better coagulation in the lymph and the blood supply in general.
7. Hence those indications towards a form of anemia. This is a general condition; and, as may be seen from that indicated, would depend upon the application of self to activities, diet and the like.
8. In the nervous system these inclinations at times "get on the nerves," as might be said, and cause depression, those periods of "Don't care." Yet these are not the normal.
9. For, activities with this body should be purposeful, to be sure, ever - as is the normal force for each and every individual entity.
10. Most of these periods arise from those centers and ganglia which bring about distresses to the body, from disturbances there.
11. The organs themselves in their functioning are very good, but it is these tendencies that make for aggravated conditions in all of the reactions from the sensory system to the central cerebrospinal system, and the organs of the senses themselves, as well as the general depression to the body in the activities of the glands as related to the reproduction of glandular forces FOR body-building.
12. Then, in making for activities as would be the more beneficial, - we find that these would be through hydrotherapy, with a specific exercise, and also with diet.
13. Under the direction of such as Reilly, then, we would have a gentle cabinet bath for stimulating the superficial circulation; followed with a specific rubdown with an equal combination of Olive Oil and Peanut Oil; with special reference to adjustments in the lumbar and sacral area and in the 2nd and 3rd cervical centers. These as we find are the areas where the greater distress exists, or from which it radiates. Then follow this with a massage to stimulate the better capillary circulation, and a final rubdown with alcohol.
14. Keep these up regularly until the strain is removed and the whole general outlook of the body is normal.
15. For two or three minutes each morning and evening we would have specific exercises of the head and neck. Take of morning upon arising, before the bathing and dressing, and of evening when prepared for retirement. These would be the more specific activities needed in the exercise.
16. In the diet, - add more of Vitamin B-1. This should preferably be taken in the food values. Hence use all foods that are of the yellow variety, in vegetables as well as fruits. More of these should be taken.
17. Also through the next three months we would take one ADIRON pellet each day, with the evening meal.
18. Do these, and we will bring the better conditions; and prevent a great deal of disturbance later for this body, [2539].
