READING 2564-2
M 39

This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 9th day of July, 1941, in accordance with request made by the self through brother, Mr. [2524], Associate Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Present: Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.

Time and Place: 11:20 to 11:25 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

TEXT

  1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
  2. EC: This is quite an apartment!
  3. Yes, we have the body here, [2564]; this we have had before.
  4. As we find, while there are improvements these have been somewhat hindered by the lack of sufficient period of applying those forces suggested for the stimulation in the nerves; also by the lack of sufficient Vitamin B-1 AND the acid vitamins.
  5. All of those applications suggested we would continue.
  6. Gradually go a little deeper with the massages.
  7. Also we find that the hot and then cold application across the lumbar and sacral will be the most efficacious manner of obtaining the proper activity through these areas.
  8. This is the only change we would make in the present for the applications.
  9. Do this at least twice to three times each week, and follow the applications with the deeper massage in the lumbar and sacral areas, especially.
  10. In the diet, keep close to those things indicated. Do not take ANY foods or drinks that carry hops or their products in same; these are harmful to the sclerosis, that is the disturbance indicated from the injury as well as the unbalance in the chemical forces of the system.
  11. Ready for questions.
  12. We are through with this Reading.

Two copies to Self (one for Dr. H. J. Reilly)
    Copy to Ass'n file
