9/15/41 Sister's [
459]'s ltr. to EC: My dear Big Buddy!
The [
459-13] reading was swell, I shall try and carry out...
[
2588] just dropped in and I was telling him about Hugh Lynn
announcing the good news [HLC's engagement to be married] and
[
2588] believes he will join the other good people if this
last crush measures up. I believe it's real love.
I just read out [
459-13] reading to him and he said it was
so logical he would like to see what the forces had in store
for him. Would it be possible to get him a reading very,
very soon? His girl wants him to visit ... this week and
announce the engagement but [
2588] would like the guidance
brought forth in the reading before the trip. He will
enclose the reading [fee] and if you will wire the hour
convenient collect here, [
2588] will be glad to answer with
a wire telling you where he will be at that hour...
[P.S. from Mr. [
2588]]:
Hello Mr. Cayce:
I would like to have some help from you and the forces, you
know I had an appointment a few years ago but was put off on
account of some others more in need.
Please let me know by Wed. for date. I am enclosing $5.00
anyway. Will send questions and best regards...

2588]: "Wire address for this
afternoon 3:30 - 4:30 EDST."

Dear [
2588] and Mrs. [...]
We hope that you enjoyed the Foundation meeting at Mrs.
Weisburgh's where Tom Sugrue and I discussed the Edgar Cayce
Foundation program. Thank you for coming.
I feel sure that you will want to have a part in this
campaign by making your own contribution. This work will be
carried on over a period of 3 years, so if you care to do so
schedule your contribution by the month or quarterly over a
three-year period. This may enable you to give more than
you could by an immediate cash contribution.
Progress on indexing and extracting from the records is
continuing here in Virginia Beach and we are looking toward
the time when we will have a complete index and a microfilm
of all these valuable records.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely, Hugh Lynn Cayce
