2/06/42 GD's ltr. to Mother:
Mrs. [...]
..., Virginia
Dear Mrs. [...]
It is possible to get the Check Physical Reading for [
2604]
on Tuesday morning, the 10th, at 10:30. I'm sorry I was not
here this morning to talk with you on the phone.
We were told sometime ago that [
2604] had improved
considerably since following the Reading. This information
came to us through Mr. Godfrey. Otherwise we have had no
word. I trust that she has not had a backset.
Unless we hear from you to the contrary, we will expect
you to be here Tuesday morning for the Reading, with the
questions you wish to ask. If possible, [
2604] might come
herself to hear the Reading. I'm sure this would be very
pleasing to Mr. Cayce. Perhaps Mrs. Godfrey could come with
you (if you wish).
Trusting that we may be of service, and with kind regards,
I am
Sincerely, [signed] Gladys Davis, Secretary to Mr. Cayce
2/10/42 Mother's comment and questions when coming to be
present for the second reading:
1. Would the routine and discipline in a hospital be to her
advantage in hastening her recovery? If so, which one would
be best?
2. Does this case require osteopathy?
3. Will there be a toe drag in the left foot?
4. And what might be done to prevent this?
5. Is it best that her mother or someone else take care of
her?
5 1/2. If someone else, please suggest how to go about
finding the correct person?
6. Is the Wet Cell Appliance properly made up?
7. Is it being used to best advantage?
8. Should it be continued and in the same manner?
Child is SO much better - the right foot was worse than
the left now is, but is alright. We are so grateful for
what Mr. Cayce has done for her. She has been under
Dr. Richardson's care from the very first.
