GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2616].
As we find, while the conditions are very good in many respects, there are disturbing conditions that may be eliminated from the system.
We find that these have to do with inactivity of certain glands and overactivity of others. These at times produce a warring within the body functionings, which produces an incoordination between the eliminating system and the supply to the replenishing or building forces in the system.
These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [2616] we are speaking of, present in this room:
In the blood supply there are indications of a supply of toxic forces. The lacking in elimination finds its expression in a humor in the organic forces of the supply, or body itself. These produce weaknesses, those tendencies for incoordinant activity through the body-functioning forces. Also these produce in ganglia the poisons that affect the nerves of face, throat, organs of the pelvis, and those conditions through a part of the assimilating forces of the body.
The nerve forces are hindered by the effects of the accumulations of toxic conditions in the body-force itself.
While the responses and reflexes of the organs themselves are good, we find that the organs of the sensory system become involved; as do the assimilating forces in the digestive system itself, where there have been lacerations through a portion of the digestive forces. Thus in the pyloric portion of the stomach there are those activities that are producing the inactivity to glands; as to the thyroid, to the testes, to the lumbar area of the body.
These have been that which has produced the disturbing forces for this body.
Then, in making applications for corrective measures:
First we would bring about the coordinations between the eliminating and the assimilating system. This would be done through hydrotherapy, with special reference to the conditions that exist in portions of the cerebrospinal system from which impulses are radiated to certain portions for the activities through the system.
At least once a week, then, for at least eight to ten weeks, have the hydrotherapy treatment; including a colonic irrigation at least every two weeks.
Also we would have an intestinal absorbent and antiseptic, so that with the assimilation there may be relieved those conditions existing in the pylorus itself. For this we would take once each day half a teaspoonful of Milk of Bismuth and five drops of Elixir of Lactated Pepsin stirred together in half a glass of water.
These, with the careful watching of the diet, should bring the bettered conditions for the body.
Do these, for betterment in the physical forces of the body.
Through the period when the hydrotherapy is being taken, we would have the electric treatments - as the application of the electricity through the hands to the face, the neck, AND to the stomach. These will remove the disturbance.
As to the mental, and the attitudes of the body, - here as much of the curative forces must be exercised as in relation to the activities physical and mental, as in the physical or the purely physiological conditions of the body.
Know that there must be those activities in which Creative Forces, or the spiritual or the purposeful, are predominant; that there must be the realization of not only being good but good for something, in the relationships to others.
These should be the attitudes; never condemning, but minimizing the faults ever, magnifying the virtues in others - if there would be the better forces for the body.

(Q) What should be done for the sinus condition?
(A) If there will be removed the poisons from the system that have caused and do cause the reflex activities in the nerve forces to the duodenum and the pylorus, we will remove the sources of the poisons that have caused the sinus disturbance.
(Q) As the body has gone through this hydrotherapy, who would you suggest to carry out these treatments?
(A) He hasn't gone through it in the manner indicated here. If he will have them as outlined here, as with Reilly, we find that they will be effective.
(Q) Would X-Ray therapy, surgery, or changing the climate to Arizona be advised?
(A) If there will be the application of those characters of treatments that have been indicated, these will relieve the disturbance WITHOUT operative forces.
Change of climate WOULD be beneficial, but not until there had been sufficient of such applications to reduce the SOURCES or CAUSES of the disturbances.
(Q) Would you advise treatment through the Rosicrucian method, or spiritual healing?
(A) As we find, we have INDICATED that which if applied in the manner indicated, with that spiritual attitude that has been indicated, will bring relief.

[Remarks after Rdg: Examinations and X-Rays shows a temporary spasm in pylorus, which doctors felt to be merely a drainage of poison from sinus, and not a serious disturbance. Apparently from Rdg. this is the main cause of the sinus trouble, which I have had since a child. I've spent 2 years in McFadden's sanitarium, following the hydrotherapy and diet; consequently took up the study of naturopathy. Also I've delved into Christian Science, Unity, Theosophy. I am a believer in drugless therapy. I'll follow your directions, regardless, and try to hold the right mental attitude.]
