GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them.
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2620].
As we find, in the physical forces of the body there are conditions which prevent the better physical functioning. These have to do specifically with the nervous system, that deflects energies in the activities of organs in the body.
These, as we find, may be materially aided, so that there may come about the near to normal conditions.
Then, these are conditions in the physical as we find, with this body, [2620], we are speaking of, present in this room:
First, in the blood supply - this we find in most instances very good. There are periods when, from the excess of used energies or drosses, there arises some irritation in the superficial circulation; producing apparently an irritation in the form of a rash on portions of the body, - or the extremities - arms and lower limbs.
These are the effects, then, of those subluxations that deflect energies that supply nutriment in the sensory organism's activity.
Owing to the nature of the deflections, the optic organs are the more severely involved; though at times - as just indicated - through the need of an excess of eliminations, there are deflected conditions produced in the nervous digestive system, or upsets, or there is the lack of ability to properly assimilate foods.
This causes a disturbance at times with kidneys, at others with the liver. These are minor in the present, and occur ONLY occasionally. For, there are those activities in the glandular forces of this body that give abilities which should be made a part of the body's activities in its relationships to others; as a healer, using the vibrations of the body as the means through which there may come healing to others - with certain characteristic disturbances, - those of a mental or nervous nature, or where there have been bruises or the like. Through the abilities of the body itself in raising the vibrations from the hands, the entity may aid others.
Hence the deflected areas of the own physical functioning should be corrected, to be sure; that these applications of the self's vitality be not hindered when there is the practical or physical application of the spiritual and mental forces of the body in applying directions for others.
As there has come those subluxations by external pressures, there would be required some few mechanical adjustments (preferably osteopathic) for the corrective measures. These subluxations exist in the sacral AND the lumbar areas, as well as being deflected in the 2nd and 3rd cervical - with a coordinant deflection in the 3rd dorsal. Thus there is the need for adjustments, mechanically made. We would have such made by Dobbins.
Then, after four or five such adjustments are made, begin with the low electrical vibrations to the side of head and neck, and the direct application with the double eye applicator, of the Violet Ray. This will cleanse the body from the poisons as well as any tendencies for those activities of influences from without that are not of a creative or helpful nature. It will also not change the vibratory rate of the body but increase same in its abilities for the use of the abilities latent within to apply the spiritual interpretations and spiritual healings for others. Then, after the three or four or five osteopathic adjustments, begin with the Violet Ray (hand machine). This may be done by self. Apply first the bulb applicator across the lumbar and sacral areas, then across the shoulders and the lower portion of neck and between shoulders, around the side of the head and the face, for about a minute and a half. Rest for about five minutes. Then apply the double eye applicator to the eyes, and then turn on the machine. This would be used for not more than a minute and a half for the body application (with the bulb applicator, you see), and for a minute or less to the eyes with the eye applicator. Do this each day for some ten days or two weeks.
With the keeping of those attitudes, and as the electrical forces are applied by self, use this as a prayer, meditation, though oft put into thy own words: OUR FATHER, OUR GOD! HEAR THY HUMBLE SERVANT, WHO SEEKS THY GRACE, THY MERCY; THAT I MAY BE A BETTER, A GREATER CHANNEL OF SERVICE TO OTHERS IN THY NAME. LEAD THOU THE WAY, O GOD. DIRECT ME IN ALL MY CHOOSINGS, DAY BY DAY.

(Q) Will more osteopathic adjustments be necessary after the Violet Ray treatments?
(A) As we find, the conditions are of the character that two treatments a week of the adjustments would not require more than three or four of such. After the Violet Ray has been used, the body should have responded sufficiently to have perfect alignment. If there are those inclinations for the corrections of the subluxations NOT to remain in place, it would require possibly a few more. But this will be determined by not only the very nature of the conditions but by the operator who makes the adjustments, see?
And there will be found sincerity with this individual making the adjustments. For, the accord in the spiritual will be found to be well.
(Q) What has caused the feeling of a dead condition on half of the side of my head, since a small child?
(A) This is from the subluxation in the area of the lumbar and sacral, and the deflection in the 3rd cervical and 2nd dorsal - that need to be coordinated in the treatments indicated. These mechanical adjustments as indicated, then, are necessary to relieve the tension. Because of such long-standing subluxations, there might be the necessity - as indicated - of a few more such adjustments AFTER the period of the Violet Ray to enliven the flow of impulses. But if there is kept the spiritual attitude, that is the purpose of the entity, we find there is much that this entity may do for others.

BACKGROUND

Eyes: Poor vision in one eye from birth; the other from the age of seven; almost totally blind at times.

12/27/41 [2620]'s letter to EC:
"I have received your letter and I wish to thank you for the kind interest in me. Therefore, by all means I wish to let you know how I am progressing. I would have written sooner, but I was quite occupied with my duties due to the holiday season, but I am sure you will forgive me.
"At the present, I am following the suggestions given in my readings. I have already taken the treatments given by Dr. Dobbins, and now I am using the Violet Ray applicator (sorry to inform you that I could not get the double eye applicator here in New York, but I already ordered one from Chicago, that will send it to me by February 15) at the present I am using the single bulb only, and I apply this also to my eyes; to each eye separately for one minute at a time. After such treatments, I usually get slight pains through the applied area, but they don't last long.
"Do you think I should take the osteopathic treatment by Dr. Dobbins over again? As you see, I am only using a single bulb now, on a one bulb applicator.
"I wish you to let me know if it makes much difference. I will repeat the treatment by Dr. Dobbins if necessary.
"I have found my Life reading most interesting, and I study its wisdom it contains. I am going through great difficulties at the present, which need my complete self-mastery, as well as clear judgment of problems that confront me.
