TEXT

GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
EC: Yes, we have the body, [2621].
As we find, conditions are much improved with this body since last we had same here. However, there needs be that there be general as well as specific precautions taken; else we may have a return - or a more violent reaction through the system.
While we would continue with the Atomidine, we would make this rather, now, in periods, but the same dosage. Take for five days and leave off for five days. Do this for several weeks, and then skip two weeks between the periods, - this dependent upon the manner in which the body regains its strength and vitality. But continue to take same.
We would also be VERY careful as to following the outlines of the diet to increase the resistances necessary. DO NOT overcrowd the system with things not indicated in the diet. DO keep away from all malt liquors or those carrying carbonated waters.
Now we would add these:
At least once a week for some six to ten weeks, take a hydrotherapy treatment under the directions of Reilly. THESE things give the body:
Do have the hot and cold shower. Do have the sitz baths. Do have a thorough massage with an equal combination of Olive Oil and Peanut Oil, with special reference to those areas from the 9th dorsal upward, in the adjustments and treatments, and from the 9th dorsal DOWNWARD. The massage should be thorough, and from the 9th dorsal UPWARD, and from the 9th dorsal DOWNWARD. Also massage the oils especially around the shoulders, through the neck AND to the side of the head. DO give the treatment for the respiratory system, - with the body lying upon the back, use the lungs sort of as a pump. This pumping motion should stimulate deeper and better circulation through the respiratory system, provided the other treatments are followed also. Give this for at least some three to four minutes, see?
THESE things DO NOT give the body:
DO NOT give the electrical treatments nor the cabinet sweats.
Of course, after the oil rubs, the body should be massaged off with alcohol.
Do ALL of these that have been indicated. Don't do more, don't do less!
And if these will be kept, we will find we will bring continued improvements.
Don't overtire the body, but do keep those mental and spiritual attitudes of not only being good but good FOR something.
Let all that ye do be with a purpose, and its base - or the basic principle of the purpose - founded in spiritual concepts.
Ready for questions.
(Q) What causes the cough that makes me give up my meals at times and what should be done for it?
(A) The lack of the full covering in the lungs by exercise. Hence, as given, the treatment for the respiratory system.
(Q) What should be done for the aches on the left side of my neck, also the little lumps?
(A) As indicated. These are a part of the effect from the lack of proper coordinating with the lymph circulation. And the character of treatments indicated, - the hot and cold shower, a tub or sitz bath or both, - will be beneficial.
Do these.
We are through for the present.
