4/16/25 [
2653]'s ltr. to EC:
Dear Mr. Cayce,
At last I have a chance to write you a letter, hope you and
the family are well. Things are coming on here fine and I
am liking New York better every day. [
257] is much better
today and [
563] is improving right along. Your readings
have helped along wonderfully and they sure are remarkable.
Mr. Cayce you promised me a reading some years ago and I
still remember it. On your last visit you told me to send
for it when I needed it. I will be at the factory all next
week except Fri., Sat., Sun. All day in fact every week
except the days named there is no particular hurry just when
you find spare time. I want to know my physical standing,
particularly my hair, eyes, teeth, feet. Also my business
and matrimonial possibilities. And what I can do to be a
real success in my present business and if it is the right
one or not. If these are answered I will be very happy as
it will relieve my mind a whole lot. My address is ...,
Basement of building. For this favor I am sending you a
beautiful end table, hand painted and a nice design. Hoping
that I will hear from you in the near future, I am as always,
Regards to family.

REPORTS
5/04/25 EC's ltr. to brother, [
257]: "...I also had a letter
from [
2653]. He finally did get up enough courage to write.
Perhaps you've seen his reading. I think it was really right
good, but you all will have to look after him for a little
bit and don't let him get away from his Mother's influence,
and you want to see that he gets some regular exercise,
such as he would get in some gymnasium. If he doesn't he'll
develop too fast in one line and not enough in another and
don't make too much fun of any of the new improvements or
things he's working on, for he'll surprise you some of these
days and make something that's really worth while. I don't
know what he's got in mind, but were I in your place I would
certainly encourage him..."
6/19/25 EC's ltr. to [
2653]:
Dear [
2653]:
Just a little note to let you know we received the table and
certainly want to thank you for your Mindness and
consideration. We all think it's a beautiful piece of work
and hope we'll have it for many a long day, and be able to
pass it on to some of the rest.
Hoping and trusting this finds you real good, and things
working out for you in the proper shape, and asking to be
remembered to your mother, [
325] with kindest personal
regards.
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce

[
2653] Sat. A.M. office...home Sunday...ask reference change
to manufacture and selling wearing apparel. Writing fully -
regards to all."
1/25/26 Brother [
257]'s letter: "I wired you reference to
[
2653]. He was offered a position by a dress goods or dress
manufacturing - two fellows began five years ago with $4500 -
drawing today $150,000 a year - they want [
2653] - so it's up
to you to say whether he is to be a furniture man or a dress
manufacture - hence the request for a Life Reading on him."
