GC: You will have before you Mrs. [
3828] who left Miami,
Florida, June 30, noon, 1926, was at Ft. Pierce, Florida,
July 1, about 9:30 A.M. She was last seen driving in a
Lincoln Fleetwood car, via Lake City, Fla., Atlanta, Ga.,
Middlesboro, Ky., Cincinnati, O., Lima, O., Detroit, Mich.,
Port Huron and to Hamilton, Ontario, and now near Hamilton -
at Mount Hope, about 10 miles South. Her father, sister and
little brother are supposed to be with her. Also Ed [...]
chauffeur or driver. You will tell us the conditions at the
present time and if the conduct was proper on this trip.
EC: Yes, we have the body here, and that time when the body
left Miami, Florida, and the present state and conditions.
In the conditions at the present time there are many that are
of the nature that are best known to the body itself, and
those conditions that transpired in the trip were in their
proper order, proper conduct, under the existing
circumstances under which this body left; for while the
conduct not exemplary in the eyes of some, what right was
there for the questions put?
The conditions as exist at the present are not altogether
satisfactory with the body, but are in proper way and manner,
and proper conduct being kept.
These are the conditions as we find. These are the
conditions as at present. Ready for questions.
(Q) What is meant by "there are other conditions?"
(A) That which in the mind of the body caused this sudden
departure. Those have to do with others. We were asked
about THIS individual.
We are through, then, for the present.
