(Q) What causes and what should be done for sensitivity to
sounds?
(A) This arises from the raising of the kundaline influence
in the body to those areas from which the auditory forces
receive their impulse. And these, as it were, have been
congested there.
Hence, as we have indicated, the necessity of relaxation to
those nerves AND the centers and ganglia along the area from
the upper dorsal throughout the cervical area.
These adverse effects should gradually disappear as the
pressures are removed and there is a better balance in
the assimilating of the food values indicated to be taken.
We are through for the present.

BACKGROUND
2/11/42 Questions:
1. Is the activity of the intestinal tract at fault?
2. If so, what would improve it?
3. What causes and what should be done to correct: Lack of
strength and energy? Susceptibility to colds? Sore throat
and headache?
4. Sensitivity to sounds? (My ears have been found to be
overacute, and nervously I am disturbed by sounds, - such
as radio, which others do not notice. I have tried without
success to deal with this condition which appears to have too
strong a physical reaction in my system.)
REPORTS
4/12/42 Letter: "I began to derive benefit from the measures
recommended in your reading within a week of the time I
started following them; and feel that your diagnosis located
the source of much of my ill health. I have been taking
osteopathic treatments according to your directions and have
now completed that course. Dr. Dobbins found that the change
needed in the curvature of my spine still exists, altho it is
now more loose and is improved in line. It was his opinion
that a year or at least six months would be needed before the
spine will regain its completely correct alignment. He has
given me an exercise to improve this and I hope this may be
sufficient; for I do not feel I can afford to continue the
expensive osteopathic treatments. I understand that you give
"ck. rdgs." to ascertain how much the treatment has taken
effect and what further needs to be done. Am I right in
thinking these are $10? and that this is a good step to
follow up what has been done? If so, will you please give
me an appointment for a ck. rdg? I appreciate very much what
has been done for me thru the rdg. and would like to carry
this on further."
4/18/42 "Thank you. I shall be in my room at our main house
during that time. As I have no doctor on my case just now,
I am sorry to say I cannot include questions from him. I
myself would like to know if the chemical condition in my
digestion is still unbalanced. Formation of gas in the
duodenum had prevented proper assimilation of food. I
would also like to know what further needs to be done in
the cerebrospinal system. The hypogastric and pneumogastric
centers having affected the digestive processes. I am still
troubled by gaseous disturbances. With sincere thanks, - "
