12/21/29 GD's letter to [
2713]:
Dear Mrs. [
2713]:-
Your letter came today. I have intended writing to you ever
since you were here, but you know how busy we usually keep -
and I know you are busy too.
If your friend comes down to the hospital, of course we will
do everything we can for him. I do wish you could spend
Christmas with us. We have a Christmas Tree out in front,
all decorated. It looks so pretty. Sonny is getting along
fine. Mrs. Levy has been in New York about three weeks now,
and he has gotten along just fine without her. She will be
back Christmas Day.
We all have missed you so much, and have thought and spoken
of you whenever we all get together. The circle doesn't seem
complete without you. I hope it won't be long before you
will be with us for good.
Here's Wishing you the Best Christmas ever, and with just
heaps and heaps of love from all here - ever the same,
Your friend, [signed] Gladys Davis
