Edgar Cayce Readings, 2722-2

FEM: Now, Mr. Cayce, you are going to sleep. Now, Mr. Cayce you are asleep, and all of the organs of your body will function perfectly. You will hear me and answer all of my questions. You have before you Mrs. [2722] who is present in this room. Now, Mr. Cayce, I want you to go over this body carefully, and tell me whether you have ever had her before, and whether she has carried out your treatments as suggested properly, and then tell me what will be necessary to bring about a perfect cure for Mrs. [2722] present in this room.
EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have had this before, you see.
Now, we find much of the same conditions existing throughout this body as we have had before. The vibrations necessary to produce the conditions sufficiently to overcome the taxation of the organs that have been and are abnormal has not been sufficient to produce the necessary functioning within the body, see? This being caused by the way and manner in which this was applied to the system, not being in accord as what was given heretofore, you see. That is, in its make.
Now, these are conditions as we find them present within the body. There are some changes throughout certain portions of the body that are better than when we had them before. The development of some of the forces necessary for the blood supply and to give the proper incentive to the blood forces is better than when we had before.
The conditions as existing through the pelvic organs, throughout all of this portion, we find much in the same condition as when we had before, see? The strained muscular forces, the taxation to the organs themselves. We haven't quite so much of the reflexes to the head, the headaches from these conditions are not as often nor quite as severe as we have had, yet they show their effect of the condition in the system, see? We would add other conditions with the vibrations received from the electrical forces, we would apply to the body local conditions or local applications both to the vagina and to the exterior portions of the body, across the lumbars and upper part of the sacrum, nerve centers and dorsals, see? That is, extending from the lower dorsals across the lumbar and the upper sacrum, ganglion centers. We would apply, when we have this tired, dull, achey feeling to the body, we would rub this portion of the body, that is from the 12th dorsal to the sacrum here, you see, with a solution of bicarbonate of soda. That is one to ten, see? that is, one ounce to ten ounces of water, see? Sponge this portion of the body well with this solution. Then apply heated salt to this portion of the body, see? that would be placed, that is the salt, heavy, sea salt, would be placed in a sack or a container, so that we would apply the heat and drive these forces into the system, that is the soda here, you see.
We would use as a solution to strengthen the forces through the vagina here this as a douche, and this should be used at the regular periods, and intervals necessary to bring the normal functioning of organs of the pelvis, that is, the ovarian discharge and the discharge from the uterus here, you see. This we would use as a douche. To one gallon of soft water we would add ten drops of glyco-thymoline, with three drops of myrrh. This will only be used twice just before, that is, a day apart for the period you see, when the discharges, see?
We would apply the electrical forces in the battery forces prepared preferably in this manner to that that has been prepared, see? Two bars of steel, half inch wide, three to four inches long, quarter to half inch thick. These would be placed to-gether with carbon between them. They would be encased in an outer casing with charcoal and absorbant cotton packed about them to hold the charge of electrical forces as gathered from the solution to which it will be placed. To these there would be attached a wire to which we would attach the battery or the forces to other end, that would be attached to the body, about the 4th lumbar. This will be placed then in a solution prepared in this manner and form. To a gallon of water we will put one-half pound of willow charcoal, six ounces copper sulphate, one-half ounce sulphuric acid, and five drams of zinc. When this is to be used it would be used each evening for fifteen minutes, that is, attached to the fourth lumbar, the plate having cords to it, which would be tied to the body, you see. After using there twenty minutes then would be attached to the ankle or to the wrist, see? Do this, we will find will relieve the condition with this body.
(Q) Mr. Cayce, must this electrical appliance be used every day, and if so, how long?
(A) With the application of the electrical force, see, with the application that we are to use with the douches, we will correct the condition about the regularity of this body, you see, in the discharge from the body, or the regular functioning of the organs of the body. These will be used until we produce the regular moons before we begin to find a regular flow.
(Q) Mr. Cayce, how will they know when the electrical apparatus is made right?
(A) When by attaching to the plate the meter showing the charge of electrical forces shows the angle necessary from two to three volts, see?
(Q) Mr. Cayce, how often shall that solution be made up fresh that is to be used in the vagina?
(A) This is to be made fresh each time that it is used, you see, and it must be with warm, very warm, water, to produce the relaxation of the organs, you see. The solutions in which we show that it does not give response to the meter, you see. Keep the battery, that is, the bars, out of the solution when not in use, see, and then the solution keeps longer. This charges itself, you see. This is a cold battery.
(Q) Mr. Cayce, is there any special diet for this body?
(A) Give these as we have given. The body has improved, you see, through the conditions producing blood supply forces. We would not change the diet we have had here. Let the body use that which it feels is necessary for its use, see? There are times the body takes to the desire for certain things, other times they feel that it is a hindrance for them. Follow the inclinations that the body calls for. Do these as we have given.
