EASTERN STEAMSHIP LINES, Inc. on board Steamship Jefferson
New York City
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Cayce.
I know you are beginning to think by this time that I like
lots of others have forgotten you but not so.
I have intended writing you several times but have neglected
it.
Have been back on the ship a month now and will continue for
two weeks more then the ship will go to the ship yard for a
general reconditioning.
Then too I have been waiting to see how my treatments were
going to effect me. I have taken 9 to-date only being able
to get two a week owing to the fact that we are only here
Mon. and Thurs.
Dr. S. H. Bright [D.O.] has been treating me and says to-day
that I am responding to the treatment wonderfully which I
am very proud of. I have been feeling pretty good with the
exception of a slight cold and a wee touch of tonsillitis
and that I believe is on account of climatic conditions, its
so bitter cold in N.Y. and Norfolk is almost like spring. It
seems to me some times like it would take a wooden Indian to
stand it, however I do try to take care of my self as much as
possible.
How is Mrs. Cayce getting along? Hope she is quite well.
Did she ever see Dr. Bright for a treatment, he is quite a
wonderful man in my estimation of course.
Do hope you Mr. Cayce and all are entirely well, and I guess
still doing your marvelous work, sure I shall never forget
you, and by the way Dr. Bright still has my physical reading.
I expect to get it before he has finished with me for I shall
keep it among my treasures.
Hope I have not bored you but rally I never know just where
to stop when writing on a subject that interest me so much.
Do hope to see you folks again soon. I do enjoy talking with
you. With very best wishes and the best of luck I am always
Sincerely, Mrs. [

3/19/26 EC's letter to [

Mrs. [

..., Va.
My dear Mrs. [
2740]:-
We were certainly glad to have yours of the 2nd, glad to know
that you have been getting along alright, and we hope that
while your ship is laid up for repairs you will take the time
to drop in and see us. Did you ever get the battery from Mr.
Brown? You should have that I know, and I would get it, for,
as he said, when I wrote him something about it, if you would
send the order, he'd be glad to send it to you and you could
pay when you were able. No, we've never had the opportunity
to meet Dr. Bright. Mrs. Cayce has been getting along quite
well of late, and outside of going to the dentist, I think
had been doing fine.
No, I don't think that you should feel that you are apt to
bore us with your letter or in person, for it is our desire
to be of help, and this we can't do unless we come in touch
with the people, known something about their desires, likes
and dislikes.
Hoping that you will have the opportunity to drop in and see
us soon, and that you will let us hear form you whenever you
have the opportunity, I am
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce EC:GD
P.S. Let us know what you think of the little booklet, and
if you want others to hand out.
