Dear Mrs. [

Helen Godfrey, Special Gifts Team Captain #2, has told me
that she has enlisted your help as a worker on the Special
Gifts Committee of the Edgar Cayce Foundation Campaign.
If you find as much satisfaction as I do in working to
preserve the Edgar Cayce readings, I am sure that this
campaign will be a rich experience for you.
I would like to call your attention to the first meeting of
your group at 11:45 a.m., Thursday, September 30th, in the
private dining room on the 4th floor at W. G. Swartz Company,
Norfolk. At this luncheon meeting each Special Gifts worker
will choose his or her prospects and solicitation will begin
immediately. This is the most important meeting that your
committee will have, so I hope that you will allow nothing
to keep you away.
I am looking forward with pleasure to working with you on
this campaign. I know that our efforts will be happy and
successful.
Sincerely, Harold G. Allen, General Chairman
P.S. Miss Edmonds, our Special Gifts Chairman, asked me to
enclose the Plan of Campaign and Time Schedule, so that you
can make a note on your calendar of times and places of
