TEXT

1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2757].
3. In giving an interpretation of the records as we find them, varied conclusions might be drawn as to the accomplishments possible in the present experience of the entity.
4. These, however, we choose with the desire and purpose that this may be a helpful experience for the entity; enabling it to better fulfil the purposes for which this entity chose to come into the material plane at this time.
5. As may be indicated from the records here, the entity's experiences or sojourns in the earth have been in periods when there were needs for an activity of a very definite choice.
6. While all of such experiences may not be given here, there will be outlined those that influence the entity the more under the present circumstances.
7. There are phases from activities in the earth's experience as well as from the astrological sojourns; that is, interims between the material activities in the earth. For, as the tree falls so does it lie. So, what an entity gains in spiritual development through an interim is dependent upon the use or the application of self through that individual or self choice; according to the consciousness it has brought about in its own experience.
8. Thus the urges manifested and innate are oft accredited to astrological aspects. Thus we give these in the terms of the influences from such interims of sojourn, or of the entity's consciousness through such an experience; now combined in the MANNER in which the entity thinks.
9. From the Uranian forces we find that the entity is very severe at times, and changeable in its own approach. Yet the mysteries, or the mystic and the spiritual forces have much to do with the activities of the entity. Thus the interest in those things oft termed by others as the mysteries of the ages, or the occult and psychic influences.
10. These are tempered with the Jupiterian forces. Thus, though there may be those activities that to many are rather of an unusual nature, these are tempered by the very practical aspects. Thus the activities of the entity will deal with things, conditions that have an effect upon great masses of people, rather than individuals.
11. Also those influences in Mars, here, are quite different in their nature from the ordinary. For, the entity controls its own temper, but oft arouses the temper of others to see their reaction. This is a characteristic of the entity that has at times caused some disputations with those of its closest associates. And yet this is a means or a manner in which the entity analyzes those with whom it comes in contact. Thus the variations, as indicated. This also gives the relationships or activities that have been experienced. And the entity's activities in the military direction, but in a certain phase of things having to do more with the supply, or the ordinances of the various natures or characters in which such activities may be experienced in the earth's sojourn.
12. These arise then, as indicated, from more the astrological aspects than from other urges.
13. Also there are those urges latent from the activity of the entity in the earth. These find the greater expression in the emotional natures of the body, or find greater activity in the expression through the sensory forces. For, as may be indicated astrologically, the entity does not believe all it sees; neither does it adhere to all it hears; yet ALL of these have an influence upon the entity's activity, and there is a reaction to those sources or supplies of such activity or information.
14. As to the appearances in the earth, - these influence the entity in the present the greater:
15. Before this the entity was in the English army, and one in the associations especially of the ordinance department, as would be termed at present, under General Howe.
16. And the activities of the entity were especially in New York, Pennsylvania, during a part of the Revolution; and the eventual returning of the entity to those areas for its activities brings in the present a very definite action in regard to the urges latent and manifested in the experience.
17. Hence the fields of service are in the armed forces, but rather in those things having to do with supply - just as the activities of the entity in those periods of reconstruction, in the latter portions of its sojourn, in portions of New York and Philadelphia and the areas between these, were in the nature of a wholesale produce individual, - then in the name Odell McGrath.
18. The activities and associations brought the entity in contact with those in places of prominence in certain political factors, in those two cities.
19. In the experience the entity gained, the entity lost, the entity gained; indicating that not ALL that is success in a material sense is success or an excess in the spiritual sense - or according to the spiritual development that is the purpose of individual sojourns in the material plane.
20. For, souls, entities, seek that home not built with hands. True, in the material sojourns these find expression in the supply for the body, but there must be the supply for the mind and soul as well. These indeed make the success that is real, as well as growth in the abilities of an entity to be an expression of the Creative Forces in any given experience.
21. Before that the entity was in the Roman land, during those periods of expansion when other lands were brought under subjugation to the military forces of Rome.
22. The entity was put in the offices of those to make surveys of varied lands as to their abilities to supply the necessary forces in the expansion of that empire.
23. Then in those experiences the entity's activities were in the northern portion of Africa, and in portions of Palestine. These brought the entity into association and contact with very definite interests in the mental and spiritual affairs of two types of peoples; those of the mysteries of Egypt and the changing influences of the Christian faith in Palestine.
24. Hence such studies of religious influence upon a people of varied lands are innately and manifestedly a part of the mental processes of the entity in the present; as to determining factors as to their abilities to contribute to the general welfare of a nation, of an association, or of any activity that might have to deal with political, economic or even military rule, in any given portion of the land.
25. The name then was Ex-cen-ter. The abilities in the present as manifested from that experience are shown in the dealings with groups of various intent, various faiths, various abilities. These will be means through which the entity may find its expression in the present. For, as we find, soon there are to be changes in the relationships of the entity which will deal with peoples of different faiths, in their ability to cooperate, coordinate in supply to those forces that have need for cooperative activity.
26. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land during those periods that followed the rebellions in the land. There the entity was among those peoples to whom the Priest was banished.
27. And the entity's activities in the Abyssinian forces then brought aid to the Priest in establishing better relationships until the recall to Egypt.
28. Then the entity was among those of the military influences in that land, aiding in putting the Atlanteans as well as those from the land of Said in their proper relationships to the political purposes of that period.
29. The name then was Armedeno.
30. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, that to which it may attain, and how:
31. First, - realize that body, mind and soul are one, - even as manifested in the Godhead. As these are one, so act in the development and in the maintaining of the relationships with the fellow men; not in an idealistic manner but rather as creative and with an ideal that is creative in its dealings with others.
32. Study to show thyself approved unto that ideal, keeping self from condemnation.
33. In the military fields are the channels in which the expression of the entity's activities may find the greater material outlet, and in which the mental and the spiritual may be coordinated for the greater expression and development; especially in the ordinance or supply, or those that have to do with the study of the ABILITIES of groups, of individuals, or of a land, to supply certain needs.
34. Ready for questions.
35. (Q) How can I develop my abilities along psychic lines?
    (A) Study well, first, the 30th chapter of Deuteronomy. Know that psychic abilities of every individual entity lie within self, and that as the body is the temple of the living God, THERE He has promised to meet thee. Do not accept those influences that arise other than from "thy spirit bearing witness with His Spirit."
36. (Q) Since [257] also served with me under General Howe, how can I make further use of [257]'s ability in this war effort?
    (A) In coordinating the activities in meeting the needs of the general action necessary for the success of that department of the ordinances.
37. (Q) How should [257]'s relation be handled by me?
    (A) We may give how thy relations may be handled, but we haven't [257].
38. We are through.
