(Q) How can I approach this problem with the most
far-reaching results in Westchester County, New York?
(A) By acquainting the peoples in groups, - one's, two's,
three's, and in mass, - with the principles as to how they
apply to that great truth which ALL peoples must learn, "KNOW
- the Lord thy God is ONE!"
And until each soul may see in the lowliest of God's
creatures that he would worship in his God, he has not begun
to think on the principles of "Thy God is One."
These tenets, these truths, the ONENESS of that spirit of
truth, of God, - stress. And the expressions of same to the
fellow man should be as given, "As ye do it unto the least,
ye do it unto me."
(Q) Through which group shall I work: The Urban League,
White Plains Committee for a Housing Authority, or Henry
Street Settlement?
(A) Why not some in at least the Urban League and the Henry
Street Settlement? These are the better two, and they work
better together.
(Q) Is the work which I am desirous of doing interfering
with my health?
(A) It'll make your health better if you keep it in the
right principle and know it's one!
(Q) Why general fatigue on some days?
(A) Disappointment, discouragements, - these are purely
mental, when fully analyzed.
(Q) Is the work interfering with my children?
(A) Make thy children a part of same, or it would interfere.
Do not let it be a separate thing, but as a whole of thy work
- for thy Lord STILL is ONE!
We are through for the present.

BACKGROUND
6/25/42 Mrs. [
903]'s letter to GD: "I know you are going to
love [
2771] and [
2772] for they do speak 'our language'. Do
help them to ask questions for as complete a reading as
possible."
REPORTS
Remarks immediately following 2771-1: "Perfectly wonderful!
You are all that [
903] and [
257] told us, and more. This
explains so many things to me."
In P.M. of same day her husband, Dr. [
2772] obtained his Life
Rdg.
7/03/42 Letter: "We are praying so hard that you can help our
son [
2779]. We send love to you all, and want you to know
how much we hope to be 'one of the family'."
4/10/43 She obtained a Physical Rdg. - See
2771-2. She was
attending law school, to prepare herself to better help the
underprivileged.
4/18/44 Letter requesting a Physical Rdg. for sick friend:
My work is so time consuming now that I haven't the time to
write, as I wish so often to tell you how each person we have
directed to you has been benefitted. As for my work, it
continues to go so well that I know it is right.
Opportunities keep opening up for my pursuit of my objective.
I have had flattering offers already but in fields other than
those which urged this course - and I continue this way, for
I am confident that at the end of this road lies some measure
of service to my brothers and sisters and that this is what
our Father desires me to do.
[
2779] reads his Bible every night. He is developing
beautifully. [
2772] is well but working too hard.
I hope all are well - and all of us here send love to you,
Mrs. Cayce and Gladys. When there's a breathing spell
between this task and the next one we hope to come down to
see you.
May God bless you and yours.
Lovingly, [
2771]
6/04/45 Letter to GD who had asked her to speak at the June
A.R.E. Congress:
However, as I say, since I felt this conference to be of such
great importance I'd have come down here if not for the
uncertainty about the children. Dearest Mr. Cayce and you,
mean so much to us - have so revitalized our living - it is
something we can never express in words but should love to
have the opportunity to express in deeds. You know I was in
such a state of confusion when you were here - worried about
the bar examination and so on. I believe I told you that the
very day I lunched with you a method of study worked itself
out in my conversations and I pursued it and was 1 of 38%
fortunate enough to pass. I have a job with the District
Attorney's office that I was told only three months before I
could never get. I'm working hard, feeling that I'm growing
closer & closer to my goal of service. Health, happiness -
all - have never been greater - nor the desire greater to
bring it to as many people in this sick world.
So dearest Gladys - read my heart and know my regret at not
being with you in the flesh. Our hearts, our spirits and our
blessings are of course with you. God bless and speed our
mission.
8/11/57 Card in re A.R.E. mailing list: "Please be advised

10/11/58 Report of her brother and his wife [

2771]
married again last May - is still active as a judge in the
N.Y.C. courts. She married a man who has been a friend of
the family for years."
GD's note: Her son, [
2779], also became a lawyer.
