TEXT

1. HLC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes - same place - yes.
3. We have the body here. While there are those irritations continuing at times, there has not been the full adherence to those things indicated. There has been the attempt to give those properties that carry so much of the Vitamin C as to work against the superficial circulation.
4. Do leave off the orange juice.
5. Do give the Yellow Saffron as a tea at least three to four times each week. Put a pinch of the American Saffron (a pinch between thumb and forefinger) in a cup and pour two ounces of boiling water over same; allow to steep as tea. Then strain and keep to be given, this amount, over a period of two days; and then make fresh again, see? This amount may be divided over a period; for instance, giving it two or three times a day, see - a quantity of two to three teaspoonsful at the time.
6. DO use the character of powder indicated, - the stearate of zinc with balsam.
7. These as we find will keep down the superficial condition and make for better digestion through the body.
8. While there may be strengthening to the diets, we would supplement same with the strained oatmeal, the yolk of egg, and with a little crisp breakfast bacon at times if desired, or things of that sort.
9. If the Saffron Tea is used, and the type of powder indicated, it will keep down the rash; but of course if there is the insistency upon giving those food values that cause too much irritation it will not be well. There is an excess of C, not sufficient of B-1. And the foods and those properties indicated will aid in this.
10. After the bath of mornings it would be well to thoroughly massage the body, but gently, along the whole length of the spine, with Cocoa Butter. This will strengthen the body, strengthen all those centers from which there is the radial activity of impulses of nerve forces and of eliminations. This would be well.
11. Do not hesitate at times to use the colon irrigation, or to wash out the lower bowel. From the conditions that exist, there tends to be a slow condition in these areas.
12. (Q) Can milk be strengthened or made richer?
    (A) As has been given.
13. (Q) What precaution was meant when the Peanut Oil rubs were suggested?
    (A) The muscular stiffness that arises from the irritations. And these we would give at times.
14. (Q) Any tonics or such recommended?
    (A) Only the reinforced foods as of the Vitamins B-1, B and B-1; not so much of the C. A and D are necessary, to be sure, but these are sufficient at present. The lime in the food or milk will be beneficial towards aiding in the supplying, through the assimilating, more of calcium for body growth and for structural strength in the body; as well as, of course, as much sunshine as may be had at all times.
15. We are through with this Reading.

[Questions not asked: Rash still persists, didn't clear up. Any reason for her sucking her fingers? Should we try to prevent it now or wait until later?]
