This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 1st day of September, 1942, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [2804], new Associate Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., recommended by Mr. [1467].

Present: Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.

TEXT

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions; also suggestions for help and relief of this body, answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes - in the show room now.
3. We have the body here, [2804].
4. As we find, conditions are such that the body should be warned of tendencies and inclinations, rather than of any specific condition other than those tendencies for organic disturbances through portions of the body.
5. For, in many respects the body is very good. But there has been some disturbance produced by the chemical balance being disturbed. And the first impulse arose from a congestion from a form of measles, - or a lymph disturbance.
6. And with a subluxation that exists in the 5th and 6th dorsal, there is a tendency for lack of proper activity in the liver and gall duct area. This upsets the metabolism of the body, and gives those tendencies towards a disorder at times as of indigestion, souring of certain foods or things in stomach, a kind of headache that produces pains in the side and base of head, and some kidney disorder; giving some disturbance to the organs of the sensory system.
7. These as we find are the primary or basic disturbances that exist with this body.
8. We would first take a series of the Simmons' Liver Regulator (in the liquid form); a teaspoonful of evening when ready to retire, for at least four days - or evenings.
9. When this has acted well, have a colonic irrigation, professionally given.
10. Then have the mechanical corrections made, as through the administrations of such as Irvin, in the dorsal and through the cervical areas; coordinating ALL those centers below the 9th dorsal with the corrections made above same.
11. It would be better to take these in series. First a series of about ten, rest about ten days or two weeks, and then take about six more.
12. With these manners of making the administrations, and being mindful as to the diet, we find that many of those superficial disturbances, - as with the lower limbs, hands and feet, - all of these, - will disappear.
13. Do these, if we would bring better conditions for this body, [2804].

15. (Q) Any suggestions regarding diet during this period?
    (A) Especially during the period when the Regulator is being taken, do not eat fats; and beware of rare steaks or such foods as ham - especially during the whole period these treatments are being given, and for quite a time afterward.
    Plenty of those foods that have the B-Complex in same should be a part of the diet.
16. We are through for the present.
