1/29/44 EC's letter to [[

Mrs. [...]
..., Virginia
Dear Mrs. [...];-
I have yours of the 17th. I don't think that it would be
practical or right for me to give your letter to the General
Electric, for I am not any more qualified to use one of these
lamps than you would be without directions from a physician
or some higher source in which we have faith and confidence.
Yes, I think you will be able to get your lamp. I have never
known in the 43 years the information telling a person to use
a thing that could not be obtained somewhere. Sometimes it
has required quite awhile for a person to get it, but they
got it if they kept trying.
Powers and Anderson in Richmond or Norfolk ought to be able
to help you out on this. You might get one of your local
doctors to help you out.
Hoping that you will be able to do this soon, and trusting
that you are all feeling a whole lot better, I am with every
good wish,
Sincerely,
Edgar Cayce EC/mpw

2828]'s letter to EC:
Dear Mr. Cayce:
I want a check Reading at your earliest convenience.
Let me know just when and I will send balance of application
along with questions.
I am slightly improved but I am far below par. Seems like it
is impossible for me to get back on the right track. Seems
like it is easier, much easier for me to go into "nose dives"
than it is for me to climb. I know that all the trouble is
with me, but, I haven't given up nor do I expect to. Surely
there is some help somewhere for me and I hope you can help
me find it.
Awaiting your reply, I am,
Very sincerely,

2828]'s letter to EC:
Dear Mr. Cayce:
I have followed closely your prescribed treatment and am
feeling only fair and after all you have said and done I
am better but far from showing definite improvement. Am
looking forward to the 28th. between 3:30 and 4:30 and I
will be here at home (the above address) at that time.
A few questions I want to ask:
Is my health improving as it should?
Why is it that at times I seem to go into a tailspin, so to
speak, and it seems hard for me to come out of it?
Has the ultra-violet light helped me any?
Do I have multiple-sclerosis and if so can it be cured?
Why is it difficult for me to see clearly throughout the day?
Why do I have a burning sensation in my legs from back of
knees down through the calf of both legs?
It is very pronounced that when I close my eyes I loose my
sense of equilibrium also when I walk in the dark why is
that?
Shall I continue the light treatments?
How is my general condition now?
Awaiting your reply, I am
Very sincerely,
6/28/44 See
