REPORTS
11/20/42 Letter from [
2838]: "Sorry to have been delayed in
answering your letter of November 2nd.
"I found my own rdg. of great interest, and after following
your instructions thus far, have noticed definite improvement
in the condition in my back. I feel that if it continues to
improve in the next few weeks as much as it has the past two,
I should be quite unaware of the pain at all. It's been
quite an annoying pain in the lumbar area, between the third
and fourth vertebrae on the left side. X-rays were negative,
and Dr. Hoff [C. B. Hoff, D.O.], in Bronxville, at 79
Ponfield Road, who has been treating me thought as I did,
that it was due to a continual straining of the back while
treating. We have tried to devise ways of clearing up the
cause if possible, but have only succeeded in preventing the
condition from becoming worse. Dr. Hoff and I are very
interested and grateful for the benefit thus far received and
we're working it out together. If I feel the need of another
reading, I'll communicate with you. I'll give it a chance
first, before bothering you again."
6/28/44 First Inquiry: "I have been recommended to
communicate with you by Dr. Hoff of ... and Dr. [
2838] of ...
both of whom tell me of your marvelous powers. They intimate
that you can be of great help to me."
