This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 25th day of November, 1942, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [2844], Associate Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., through Mr. [622].

TEXT

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2844]; this we have had before. While there is a great improvement in the conditions of the body since last we had same here, there is still much to do be desired; though a great deal of this will depend upon the mental attitude of the body.
3. Do not leave off those corrections osteopathically, until there is a TRUE alignment all along the cerebrospinal system.
4. We would find that there would be better response if one treatment is given as a relaxing treatment and the next is given as more of a corrective or stimulating treatment, see? This will allow for the reactions or reflections through the body, especially as related to the eliminations and assimilations.
5. We would, now, have a colonic irrigation about every two to three weeks, until about three have been taken; to cleanse the colon area, so that those stimulations which have been thrown into the alimentary canal will be cleansed from the body. Have these at least two to three weeks apart, see; though the first two should be within at least two weeks, see, - and then it may be two more weeks or even three weeks before the third colonic, see? This will keep down those tendencies for regurgitation, that causes some disturbance in the stomach, where there has been the tendency for the acid to cause burning or caking of the mucous membranes in portions of the stomach itself.
6. Drink milk at one meal, at least, rather than other things. Eat whole cereals, cooked and dry. Boiled eggs may be taken of morning.
7. Or, we would give this as an outline for the diet; though, to be sure, these need not be the ONLY foods taken; for there should be changes in the general diet of the body:
8. Mornings, - some fruit, either oranges or grapefruit. Then a coddled egg, or soft boiled egg, and toast, or oatmeal well cooked, or a combination of oatmeal and other cereals that may be combined with same - these taken with milk. Also the breakfast may include crisp bacon, and coffee, tea or milk.
9. Noons - preferably a soup, a raw vegetable, and cooked vegetables; with either fish, fowl, lamb, stew wild game or the like.
10. Evenings - milk, with vegetables or cereals, or some sweets; having little or no grease or meats in this particular meal.
11. Do these, and as we find we will keep toward building to better forces for this body.
12. Ready for questions.
13. (Q) How often should the osteopathic treatments be given?
    (A) At least two in ten days, or two in a week is preferable - until there is better improvement in the condition of the spine.
14. (Q) Have those osteopathic treatments given been done correctly? Any further suggestions for Dr. Irvin?
    (A) As indicated, make one a stimulating treatment and one a relaxing treatment. This is the only change we would make.
    Do that.
