Do have, though, for an hour each day, the application of
Castor Oil Packs over the liver and gall duct area. While
a bit messy, this may prevent the necessity of operative
measures, and will aid in preparing the body for the full
eliminations. Use at least three thicknesses of flannel,
and this flannel sufficiently large to cover the right side
and half way or more across the abdomen from the rib and
breast area on the right side, extending almost to the caecum
area on that side. The cloths should be saturated with the
hot oil, and applied directly to the body, warm, and then
heat applied - as from an electric pad. When this Pack has
been kept on for an hour, as warm as the body can reasonably
stand, sponge off the area with warm soda water. Do this
each day for three days.
At the end of the third day, following the third application,
you see, - take internally at least two tablespoonsful of
Olive Oil.
Then, after resting three days, - have such an one as Coulter
drain the gall duct osteopathically.
During these periods let the diets be principally of
liquids and semi-liquid foods; and include in same the raw
vegetables, - as lettuce, celery, radish, carrots (grated,
preferably), with a salad dressing. All of these would be
a part of the meals.
With these cleansings, we will find the tendencies for gas
formations should disappear, also the dizzy effects as
produced through the body at times of mornings, and the
disturbances with the kidneys.
Be consistent, be persistent.
Ready for questions.
(Q) What effect has alcohol when you eat raw oysters?
(A) It produces a chemical reaction that is bad for MOST
stomachs. Oysters should never be taken with whiskey.
(Q) Does alcohol affect my condition?
(A) As indicated, if the condition would be cleared, do not
take any alcoholic drinks during the period these treatments
are taken. It does affect the body. But if there is the
desire for taking same in a mild manner, it may be done
without too great a disturbance, PROVIDED the system is
cleansed first!
(Q) Why do I get pains in the abdominal region?
(A) As indicated, from the regurgitation from formations
of gas - because of the reactions given.
Do as we have outlined, if we would remove these
disturbances.
We are through for the present.
