This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 7th day of May, 1929, in accordance with request made by self, through Mr. [900].

TEXT

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the entity, and those relations with the universe and universal forces, as are latent and exhibited in the present entity; also those conditions as surround same through relative forces from experiences in the earth's plane.
  2. In entering, we find the entity coming under the influence of Jupiter, Venus, Mercury, and of Occides (?) [Ox-ides?] - or the relative force of Pleiades, in that of Orion, with the effect in the Ox-Orion - Y-e-s - unusual!
  3. In the effect then, or irrespective of the will's force, or that as would be seen from the influences through the relative force of sojourns, or as is called - astronomically - Jupiter of strength, might, ennobling, forceful, CONVINCING in arguments (and LOVES to argue!); in that of Venus, love, sympathy, and long-suffering, patient at times, and extra- vagant in self at others.
  4. In the influences as applied in self's present experience, varied somewhat to these conditions as are innate, or relative-active with the mental body:
  5. One, then, that is high minded; yet noble in action towards others, disliking littleness in anyone.
  6. One that appreciates sincerity in EVERY form.
  7. One that belittles those that are in any sense "hangers-on", or ones that would belittle themselves to get in a position to become hangers-on; and we will see from the experiences, why.
  8. In the active forces then toward the applying of self:
  9. One given towards that of the study of the arts; not as ordinarily - but one that would especially succeed in the lines of woven fabrics, rugs, oriental and occidental. One that may gain much through the STUDY of such conditions as they apply in the mental and material plane.
  10. One that is kind in the home - LOVING really only one, but nice to many.
  11. One that finds that the sincerity in self and self's action to individuals is often reflected in those whom the body does business with, or entertains as friends.
  12. One that makes friends slowly, yet makes strong friendships.
  13. One that is LIKEABLE in some moods, and ROTTEN in others.
  14. One that finds, when things go wrong, better to look into self than to accuse others; yet all these conditions are as CHANGEABLE, when other elements enter in, especially those of any effect that would pertain to any SET religious thought.
  15. As to appearances, and the effect these have had, do have, upon the present experience:
  16. In the one before this we find in that period when there were wars within and without, known as the Trojan period. The entity then among those who defended the city, and was among those that rose with him that destroyed the usurper, or the one without heart - Hector; and the entity gained through this experience, and lost in other portions of self's own aggrandizement of power gained. Gaining when in service and in acting the IDEAL that impelled many during that period. Losing in meting to others that that was disliked in self. Hence that of the dislike of littleness in self or others, and of the hanger-on.
  17. In the one before this we find in that period when the return of the peoples to the Holy City. The entity then one of the armor bearers to the scribe to Ezekiel, and the entity then in the name Aiels. The entity gained through this period, gaining much in knowledge as to the application of self to the creative forces, as to that of the mental and spiritual developments of peoples that were true to self and to others.
  18. In the present, this an ENNOBLING thought and principle in the entity, and is NEARER the entity's real religion.
  19. In the one before this we find in the land when there were divisions among the peoples in what is now India. The entity then among the peoples in the upper country, coming down upon those of the valley and destroying many; yet the entity, in the name Oliabenxyoi, found much favor with the fair of that land - the ladies - and the entity rose in power through those peoples coming to worship the beauty of the figure and the activities among those peoples. The entity lost through the greater portion of the period, for much of the pomp, power, as conferred, turned into personal or individual use, without respect the other person's or body's own activity. In the present we find much of the connoisseur in beauty, in many respects - especially of the garments of ladies' wear, yet the real innate force of the weaver ALSO seen from this experience, and the entity would be WELL in any BUSINESS that had to do with the weaving of patterns, rugs, oriental or occidental; or laces or curtains. These are especially interesting to the body.
  20. In the one before this we find in that land known as Atlantis, and the entity among those present when the destruction came, and EVER present in the entity is fear of turmoils, riots, or of earthquakes. These really cause shudders even, in the inmost being of the entity. The name then Sailuen. The entity gained through that period, gaining in the attempt (though failing in same) to prevent the activities of the peoples towards self-engorgement, or the taking on of self in the manner of worshiping self's abilities rather than applying the self as the channel or the motive through which universal forces might act.
  21. In the present abilities:
  22. These, we find, are towards money-making - and well that the application of that gained be kept in the manner as that as first attained in Poseida, or Atlantis. In the actions, keep self as a medium for the activities of the force that may be builded for the good of others; for service to others is the highest service to the Creator. Remembering the experiences of yore, KEEP thy skirts clean. We are through for the present.
