Dear Mr. [
2897]
It has been some time since we have heard from you.
Recently, in talking with Dr. Reilly, he mentioned the
fact that he had seen you and spoken with you about our work.
The Reading [
2897-1] which you received from my father
several years ago, a copy of which we recently mailed to
you, indicated considerable interest in occult subjects.
I'd like to take this opportunity to advise you of recent
steps which we have undertaken in connection with the study
and presentation of my father's work.
As you know, for years we have been assembling the records
on individual cases, and now have in our files a most unusual
collection of psychic data, which have proven helpful in
thousands of individual instances.
In a work of this kind, the first concern is accurate
recording and building up of irrefutable evidence as to the
value of such information. We feel that we are now in a
position to present many of our findings, through pamphlets,
research papers, magazine articles, and books. Preparatory
to taking these steps, we have planned for proper housing,
office and library space, for carrying on the work of
indexing the thousands of Readings in our files. As we
complete this index system, every subject mentioned in
Readings over a period of many years may be found quickly.
We will begin immediately the extracting of data on specific
subjects, for use in publication form.
We have completed the first step in our program, as outlined
in the enclosed leaflet; namely, the construction of library,
vault and offices. We are now working toward the indexing of
the Readings.
Henry Holt & Company has recently signed contracts for
publishing a book on my father's life and work, which will
focus considerable attention on our efforts.
We'd like for every individual who has had experience with
this work, and who is interested in the general field of
psychic research, to have an opportunity to assist us in
making a real contribution in this field of study. I hope
we may have your interest and support at this time, and that
you will let me have any suggestions which you think might
prove helpful.
Sincerely, HUGH LYNN CAYCE, MANAGER [HLC:GD]
P.S. A rather interesting matter came to my attention a few
days ago, when one of our members sent me a copy of a sheet
of her music which had just been published that bore your
picture. Of course, there was nothing particularly unusual
about this, except for the fact that when I checked your
respective Life Readings I found that you worked with her
on music some ten thousand years ago in Egypt. The lady
in this case is: Mrs. [
1602], ... St., whose music is
published under the name of [
1602]. I'd like very much
for you to meet her sometime. HLC.

Dear Mr. Casey:
Your letter of the 10th received and I was very happy to
hear from you. I would like very much to have a chat with
you on the subject about which you wrote as I have gone a
lot farther since the reading which your Father gave me.
Perhaps I may be of some service to you. Whether I can or
not, I shall be very happy to meet with you and discuss some
of these things with you.
Wishing you a very Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year, and with
every good wish, I am
Cordially yours, [

5/10/42 Mr. [

Report on 2897-4, Par. 4-A--6-A:
The following is taken from the following book:
IS THAT THE BIBLE?
by Charles Francis Potter
Printed May 1941 by Triangle Books (address at that time was:
14 West Forty-ninth Street, New York City)
PAGE 248
The wicked spirit or fallen angel kept bound in the
wilderness, to whom the Jews sent the scapegoat on the Day
of Atonement, Leviticus 16:8 RV.-
"And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for
Jehovah, and the other lot for Azazel."
See also verses 10 and 26.
According to the Book of Enoch (which was once in the Bible),
Azazel was formerly the leader of the angels, or "sons of
God," of Genesis 6:2, who married earthly women and begat
giants.
