6/03/27 Mr. [
2904]'s ltr. to EC:
NEW YORK, N.Y.
Mr. Edgar Cayce
Virginia Beach, Va.
Dear Mr. Cayce
I beg to acknowledge receipt of the Psychic Reading requested
by me and find it intensely interesting and I feel sure it
will be beneficial.
For the past four months I have been working of a "Physicians
System of Accounting" and while I can apply the text of the
Reading to the work I would appreciate your interpretation,
feeling that your familiarity with these readings would
enable you to give me the counsel I am looking for. Do you
think Mr. Cayce, that I am working along the right lines;
that is to say, will it give me the success I am looking to
accomplish provided, I apply myself as suggested.
I note that you replied to the first three questions only.
Was this due to your not being able to cover them, or simply
a termination of the reading.
I am very much interested in this, because these unanswered
questions are rather important to me.
With regards to questions #3 [2904-1, Par. 24-A] the answer
is, Direct by mail being the greater resource, yet many may
be attained in the proper manner by the meetings in the
various centers for the gathering of such, see?
That is, when there are gatherings of such that use such
commodities, place some before these.
By gatherings or groups; Could this be interpreted as by
Sales Organizations?
An early reply will be greatly appreciated by
Sincerely yours [
2904]
P.S. I trust you are entirely recovered from your
indisposition.
6/10/27 EC's ltr. to Mr. [
2904]:
Dear Mr. [
2904].
Replying to yours of the 3rd, I am certainly glad to know
that you found the reading interesting, and I believe -
from the experience of others - that a very careful study
of same will prove very valuable to you. I would say - from
my experience, with the results others have gotten - that
you are working along the right lines, and I believe a very
careful study of the reading will give you a very definite
plan of how to distribute same when completed.
As you possibly may have already surmised, from the
readings you have seen, it is at times rather hard for the
one conducting the reading to control the length or the
number of questions that may be asked - for, from whatever
source the information may come, when it decides it is
through, it is through! and we believe that a careful study
of the reasons of this is: If the one seeking information
will put into actual practise that already given, it will
supply more - or, in other words, as one might say, it
apparently feels it has given the seekers that which they may
digest for the present. Work it along this idea and see what
you think of it.
We have been rather disturbed about not hearing from [
4586].
I hope she's back home all safe and sound.
With kindest personal regards, I am
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce [EC:GD]
6/10/27 Niece [
4586]'s letter: "I read [
2904]'s reading
and, in my opinion, it was splendid. He asked me to go
over it with him, which we I did, and we fathomed some of
the paragraphs together. I believe I understood his better
than I did some of my previous readings - but - maybe that's
human nature; we see the other fellow better than we see
ourselves! Yes?"
6/13/27 "[
2904] likes his reading a lot, and when I left the
house this morning I noticed a letter from your goodself on
the table in the lobby to him. I almost thought it was for
me - that old familiar envelope - and I just would have loved
to delve into it. However, you may be sure that I won't be
home tonight ten minutes before I run across the hall and
find out what the letter said!!! You see I'm his favorite
niece and I'm his confidante. Isn't that nice? He is a very
brilliant man - has a marvelous mentality - but it just seems
that things are not working out for him. I try to help him
the best I can in handling all his correspondence, etc.,
which gives me much additional work, but I don't mind doing
it for him if it will assist in any possible way."

Mr. Edgar Cayce
Virginia Beach, Va.
Dear Mr. Cayce:
Since receiving your reading given me under date of May
27/27 I have discovered that my date of birth given you as
November 18, 1871 is incorrect. The date should have been
November 24th 1871.
It is surprising that at this late day this should have been
noticed. Would this latter date effect my reading in any
way?
If revision of any part of this reading is necessary, would
you kindly send it to me.
Thanking you in advance and with kindest regards from [
4586],
not forgetting myself I am
Sincerely yours [

Mr. [
2904]
..., New York City
My dear Mr. [
2904]:
Yours of the 12th was read with a great deal of interest,
and I have been trying to turn the matter over in my mind
and find some solution to the problem without taking a
reading on same, but I've come to the conclusion I don't know
how. I had thought that possibly I would see you to talk
this over before this, but my expected visit to New York
has been delayed for some time. Possibly I may see you
sometime next month.
I don't know whether with a reading of this nature there
would be any difference or not. Naturally, I know - from
what astrologers say - that even a few minutes makes all
the difference in the world, from the astrological viewpoint.
Whether this time was corrected in the reading or not I can't
say. There apparently was some condition around the reading
that was not exactly in order, and we have had experiences
where we HAVE given the birth date when the individual only
knew the year, and I believe I remember one instance where
the correction of the year, even, was made. But - to have
the suggestion made that it was at such and such a time when
it wasn't, must either call for a correction by the reading
or quite a difference would be in the information that was
gotten. In my own mind I would doubt the authenticity of
any of it unless the correction was made. So I know no way
that we might check up except to make another reading - but
possibly I'll have the opportunity to talk this over with
you sometime in the near future.
Thanking you for calling our attention to this, and hoping
things are going well with you, I am
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce [EC:GD]
