This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 17th day of February, 1943, in accordance with request made by the mother - [2881], Associate Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. HLC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '42 - changes for the entity. Yes - should the entity be among those, he would not return but by choice; not by other means - '40 - " etc., on back to birth date.)
3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as [2909].
4. Keep in touch with this entity!
5. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, this entity is very intuitive. There may be the developing, if such is chosen, of an unusual life of psychic experiences for this entity. The special interest, however, will be in the oriental means and manners; but if these were tempered with the Christian purposes, the entity may become a power and an influence in the field of such activities.
6. Then, in choosing the interpretations of the records as we find, these we give with the desire and purpose that this may be a helpful experience for the entity; enabling the entity to better fulfill the purposes for which it entered this sojourn. If this would be taken advantage of, this may indeed be an experience worth while.
7. In giving the influences as we find latent and manifested, these we choose with the knowledge that these are portions of the entity's experience, if the entity chooses to let the intuitive forces manifest. But these have been so disturbing at times as to become tabu, especially in associations with the activities of the entity in some directions.
8. Astrologically, we find Uranus, Neptune, Mars and Venus as the ruling forces with this entity. Hence, as will be indicated, there are periods in the experience when outwardly, to others, there would be no known reason why the entity should choose this or that direction. And they may be extreme in the ways and manners to bring aggravation to others.
9. Interest in occult and mystical forces we also find indicated; a stubbornness at times is indicated from the very activities of the entity, the applications of self to that of patience, and mostly of persistence. For, the real ideals are within. Look not to formalities or routine; though these may bring a form of consciousness, they become rote, and one oft in rote loses sight of the ideals.
10. Study those precepts, not as of a law of man but as universal laws, indicated especially in the last admonition of the lawgiver, and as presented to man through Him who is the way, the truth and the light, especially in the 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th of John. And apply them as thy principles, as thy ideals, as thy daily life.
11. In giving the interpretations of those experiences of the entity in the earth, - these have been quite varied, and yet many have had to do with those activities in other lands. Hence if there are the opportunities, the entity will be a much traveled individual, and should through the present environs be brought in contact with the activities of the oriental life - unless there is will power used the entity will remain there, and it is not too good for the entity.
12. Before this the entity was in the land of the present nativity, during the early experiences in Salem, Massachusetts; when there were those questionings of the activities and experiences of many during that particular period.
13. The entity then, in the name Dresler Foxx, gained throughout that sojourn, though from the activities of others, - yea, even some of those things written of the entity, - it might appear to be the opposite. But in spiritual interpretation, in the abilities of the intuitive forces, much gain was made.
14. Correlate these with the principles as were exemplified in Him, the teacher, the healer, the minister, the savior of man.
15. Before that the entity was in the Indian land, in the environs about Poona.
16. There the entity was a healer, a teacher in the ways of the Brahman experiences of individuals; and these brought those activities that are hard for the entity to correlate at times with the spirit within self, as from the influences from without.
17. The name then was Ejhil. In the present the entity's application to the abilities to lead others may be manifested, if there is that choice in the entity's activity.
18. Before that the entity was in the Persian or Arabian land, during those periods when the activities from the Grecian land were for the undermining of the activities in the "city in the hills and the plains."
19. With contact with the teachings, the entity became an applied healer, especially as related to what is now called hydrotherapy.
20. And in any ills for this entity, such practise and such schools of healing will be of a greater benefit to the entity (or body) than materia medica AS medicine, or even the mechanical or electrical measures. Massage and hydrotherapy would be the more beneficial.
21. The entity applied self in the organized efforts when he came under the influence of the teacher Uhjltd, and became a practitioner there.
22. Thus the entity may make a good writer, a good speaker, even a platform speaker - as were portions of the entity's experience in that land.
23. Then the entity was at first known as Ecco, and in the experience in the land where there were the greater activities, as Pasha-drajah. The entity gained much, for the mental, material and spiritual purposes were coordinated.
24. These will be the problems for the entity in the present - keeping those ideals and the activities of same coordinant with those principles and ideals.
25. Before that the entity was in the Atlantean land, but among those groups dispatched to other lands at the time of destruction.
26. With the entrance of the groups into Egypt the entity was among those who had been in the Pyrenees. With distribution of various groups the entity went into the land of Saad. There the entity made application of those tenets that were the combination of the Egyptian and the Atlantean teachings.
27. The name then was Ajax-ahi.
28. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then:
29. These are only limited to self. There is little save self that may prevent the entity from becoming a power for good in the psychic or spiritual fields of activity.
30. Those interests especially in the oriental will necessarily be tempered. But BECOME rather a unifier; for the Lord thy God is one.

32. (Q) What was meant by the reference to the entity's joining a certain group and not returning?
    (A) If the entity is given that activity in India, his choice will be not to return - that is, this would be the natural tendency of the entity, but it would not be well - hence the use of will power will be needed, if there is to be the return and the application for the greater good of all.
