Pressures from the toxic forces affect the organs of the
sensory forces in the present, as indicated in the condition
in eyes, in that as related to the manner of the effect of
tastes and odors upon the olfactory nerves of the body.
These are rather symptoms. But, to be sure, as related to
the eyes and the usage of same, they may become very
disturbing at times. But if there is the building up of the
general health of the body, building of better resistances,
and the setting up of better eliminations, through the system
- the lack of which causes aggravation to the heart, lungs,
liver or kidneys - we would correct a great deal of
disturbance with the nerve deflections affecting the centers
of the sympathetic activities of organs of the sensory
forces. And the general health, as related to abilities for
activity, for assimilation and the like, - and the ability
to carry on more in a normal manner, may be better
established through the system.
As we find, these corrections might be better done through
the use of hydrotherapy treatments - and the lights that will
aid in producing to the nerve impulse, as well as to blood
flow, a greater stability of assimilating proper foods in
the body. These treatments we would give at least once a
week for some three to four weeks at a time, and then periods
of rest from same for some two or three weeks, and then again
such applications.
The hydrotherapy should include not heavy sweats, not a
great deal of temperature, but a little dry heat with the
fume baths. The fume baths should include, preferably, the
witchhazel; followed with a massage and rubdown with this
combination of oils:
Olive Oil...........................2 ounces,
Peanut Oil..........................2 ounces,
Lanolin, dissolved................1/4 ounce.
Shake well together.
After such treatments give the ultra-violet; this especially
over the area of the central portion of the body from the
back. Project the green light between the ultra-violet and
the body. Not more than two minutes of the treatment. Do
not give the ultra-violet without the green light. Have the
green light about twelve to fourteen inches from the body.
Then the diet: Keep extra amounts of the Vitamins A, D and
B-1; depending, of course, upon the quality or character of
foods as to whether reinforcement in the form of concentrated
vitamins should be taken. As we find, we would take the A
and D every other day in the concentrated form, and the B-1
every day. Especially for this body we would use the One A
Day brand, but taking the A and D only every other day, the
B-1 every day. These not during the times there are rest
periods from the hydrotherapy treatments. For, the rest
periods from the concentrated vitamins, with the regular
diets, are as necessary for the betterment of the body as
the periods when these are taken.
We would have the surroundings of the body of those things
that are active forces, as much as practical; that is, in
company with those doing things, going places.
And keep in the open whenever the weather and the environs
permit.
These, as we find, should bring better conditions for this
body.
Change glasses only after there has been at least a series
of three to four weeks of such treatments. And, as we find,
there will not be necessitated much change - until at least
the second series is taken.
Ready for questions.
(Q) Does the climate affect her health and would she have
better health if she were in Iowa?
(A) As we find, of course, with the pressures, the climate
does affect the health; but with the changes and the
treatments indicated, there may be the better adjustment of
the body to the present environs. And we would not change
until there is at least some improvement, or in the early
spring.
We are through with this Reading.

1/06/43 Daughter [

that nothing can be done for Mother's eyes, but would like
to know and feel she is prepared for the information no
matter what it says. Should she get new glasses? Should
her glasses be tinted more than the ones she has? Does
the climate [in ..., N.J.] affect her health and would
she have better health if she were in ... [her old home]
in Iowa? What causes dizziness?"
