7/08/44 Mother's letter:
Dear Mr. Cayce:
David Kahn said he informed you that we were writing for a
check reading. We have not written you for one - for a long
time. Buddie's [...]'s program is so extensive now that a
reading at the earliest date possible will be more than
appreciated - Buddie is always at home seldom away - if so
from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Mondays, Wed. & Fridays - which is
when he takes his lesson, otherwise he is here. So you can
work the reading in at your convenience and it isn't
necessary to inform us just when you are having it.
We are giving Buddie exercising (for muscular coordination) &
tutoring helping him learn reading, writing and arithmetic.
We would like to know if we should continue with your
treatments in the same manner including the battery whereby
he gets gold and also massage. Buddie exercises one hour a
day - his school work takes an additional two hours - your
treatment takes another hour. Do you think this all is too
much or should we continue with this same program? We have
followed your treatments consistently never letting up at
all.
Is it important to eliminate sugar and salt from Buddie's
diet as one Dr. formerly directed us. He is still taking his
powders which you approved of and thyroid pill.
We just had his eyes examined & find he has to wear glasses
when he does his schoolwork.
You mentioned in a previous reading we would discuss the
school problem a little later on. Most schools will not
accept Buddie - there is a Catholic school that we believe
might accept him where he would receive individual attention
- what do you think of this?
David Kahn is here and we were just discussing this matter.
He wishes to be remembered.
Enclosed is a check for $10.00 for this reading.
With kindest regards to you & your family & hoping to have
the pleasure of seeing you soon.
Sincerely, (Mrs.) [...]

Dear Mr. Cayce:
In reference to your letter of July 14th - we are looking
forward with great anticipation to [
2963]'s check reading on
Sept. 4th 10:30-11:30 A.M.
We would like also to know if we should continue the powders
and one grain of thyroid daily.
[
2963] is very fidgety & cannot stand still a minute. Do you
think we are overstimulating him.
It is very difficult for him to speak - it seems he wants to
say more but just cannot get his words out.
We are awaiting your reply - thank you very kindly and hoping
this finds you and your family well
I remain, [
2963]
1/26/50 GD's note: Mr. [
3339], father of [

$100 to the E.C.F. campaign for making the readings
available.
10/10/50 Mother of [
2963] asked to be notified of N.Y.
lectures and asked for publications.
