(Q) What can be done for the high blood pressure?
(A) As the enemas are kept, there should be the osteopathic
elimination of tensions through the body, and these will
reduce the blood pressure. This by relaxation, not
stimulating but relaxing those areas of the secondary cardiac
plexus, as well as the 2nd, 3rd and 4th cervical.
These, with keeping the diet and the quiet, should keep down
the pressure.
(Q) To improve his eyesight?
(A) This can best be achieved with the adjustments
osteopathically made for the relaxing, for the flow of the
blood supply through heart, liver and lungs and kidneys; and
by the use of the head and neck exercise, gently but
thoroughly and systematically taken, day after day; twice
each day taking the head and neck exercise for the eyes.
(Q) To help evacuations? (He is taking an enema every day
now.)
(A) This should be kept, if it is necessary. But using more
of the vegetables and laxative-producing vegetables should
aid in these directions.
But DO have the thorough evacuations daily, else we will find
the blood pressure climbing higher.
(Q) Should all present treatments be continued?
(A) Continue these, and add the correcting osteopathically;
this to aid the material needs in keeping down the tendency
of plethora in portions of the deeper circulation. If this
is done every other day it will be well, or at least twice
each week.

10/10/43 Wife's letter: "The eye doctor says his sight will
not improve and he says he will never read."
"He is looking better and feeling better and thinking more
clearly. His memory for names is still hazy. Will that
improve with his general condition? We are keeping up the
low voltage electrical treatments with half hour massage
following, and going to Scarsdale for two osteopathic
treatments a week. When we move back in Nov. he can have one
every other day."
