Mr. Edgar Cayce
Association for Research & Enlightenment Inc.
Virginia Beach, Virginia
My Dear Mr. Cayce:-
Your appointment for May 26th., 10:30 to 11:30 AM E.W.T.
or 7:30 to 8:30 Pacific time, is satisfactory to me. I am
really very grateful to have this appointment knowing how
many demands you have on your time and what a very
wonderful service you are performing. I shall be in my
bedroom lying down on my bed.
Please go over my physical body, the nervous system,
glandular system and the blood stream. I should like
to ask the following questions -
1. What may be the cause of sick headaches from which I have
suffered most of my life?
2. Would a diet help this condition?
3. Are the high colonics beneficial (Gordon Detoxifier)?
4. What might cause a very sensitive condition of the
membrane of the vagina?
5. Can you suggest a treatment to relief [relieve] this?
6. Would it be of benefit to me to have the rest of my teeth
extracted?
7. What might cause the frequent strained and sore condition
in the lower spinal region?
8. Would you suggest a treatment?
9. Are the Electric Vapor Treatments as given by
Mrs. Madeline Long of benefit to me?
REPORTS
6/11/43 Mrs. [
3024]'s ltr. to EC:
My Dear Mr. Cayce:-
The physical reading you made for me came very promptly and
I want to thank you for it. I think probably it is the best
diagnosis I ever had made and I shall try to follow your
recommendations to the letter. I may not be able to take
all the hydro-therapy treatments at the present but I shall
follow them up as soon as I return home.
My mother had a stroke and I came to California to take care
of her for the summer. Late in the summer I have planned to
go from here to be with my only daughter who is to have her
first child in October. Her home is in ..., Nebraska. It
may be late in November before I actually get back to ...
It is one of those times in my life when plans seem to have
been made for me and I am but the instrument. My family are
all so sweet and cheerful and so appreciative that it is a
joy to do things for them. I expect that I shall be very
busy, very much confined but I am learning a great many
useful things.
Thank you very much for your interest, your consideration and
your helpfulness. I appreciate them. I know that you are
extremely busy and I do not want you to feel that you must
answer this.
Most sincerely yours, [
3024]
1/06/44 Letter: "First I want to tell you that I have been
feeling so much better since having my reading and having the
satisfaction of knowing the real basis of the trouble. The
treatments I have taken have helped." [She then requested a
Physical Rdg. for her baby grandson - appointment for which
was later cancelled due to EC's illness, etc.]
9/05/49 She contributed to fund for preparing the readings,
saying: "Dr. D. D. Fitch [N.D.] from whom I have taken some
treatments is very much interested in the Ass'n. In fact he
has been following my Cayce reading in his treatments."
