Mr. Edgar Cayce.,
Dear Sir:-
In response to your letter of May 28 - the date June 9, from
3:30 to 4:30 P.M. will be satisfactory for the reading. I
shall be at home in bed where I spend all my time since I
have taken ill eight years ago.
As I told you in my previous letter I have been paralyzed for
eight years. I am paralyzed from under my arms down. I have
12 sinuses scattered on my back and thighs that drain
regularly. I have to have an enema every other day as my
bowels never move voluntarily. I have a retention catheter
inserted in my bladder all the time.
For the past two weeks my doctor and nurse have allowed me on
a wheel chair in a reclining position. This is the first
time I have been in a wheel chair for seven years.
As to any questions you said I may ask: -
1. CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT HAS CAUSED THIS TROUBLE?
I have had the best doctors in this section and none of them
seem to know what is the cause. I have had chiropractic and
osteopathic treatments and it was found I couldn't stand
them.
2. Is it possible that there can be any permanent cure or
help?
3. Are there any home treatments we could use that would
help?
I have use of my hands and can do all kinds of sewing, good
eyesight and can read.
I have never given up hope and have always had faith that
someday I might find some help.
