TEXT

1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '30 - what a rocky road! - '28 - " etc., on back to birth date.)
3. Yes, we have the records here.
4. The seal upon the book of life of this entity is unusual:
5. A stump, taking root; torn and twisted, yet winding back! This would be indicated in color. The background would be vignetted, against a dark and light shadow across same. DUM TACENT CLAMANT!
6. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them that here for this entity, these we choose with the desire and purpose that this be a helpful experience for the entity; enabling the entity to better fulfill those purposes for which it entered this present sojourn.
7. While many changes have come in the material experience, some have been very disappointing, some that have brought about pleasant memories, - look not back upon the faults, but rather magnify the virtues - in others as well as in self. And you will find that these have been or may be used as opportunities for still greater advancement.
8. For, as indicated by thy presence in the material plane, ye still have much work to do in the vineyard of thy Lord.
9. And who is thy Lord? Who is thy God?
10. These analyze well. For, it is well that one have material things, but these are very disappointing. While it is true that you are a good spender when you have it, yet all such takes wings and flies away easily. And that peace which comes from being at one with the Creative Force, ye call God, is everlasting.
11. For, the purposes of life are to make the paths straight. From what? From those that have been the shortcomings, not only in the material plane in the present but those periods that are being magnified in thy experience through urges and shortcomings of the past, as ye may find indicated from the astrological aspects in some phases of thy experience - at least.
12. In Mercury ye find the high mental ability.
13. We find in Mars that inclination for madness or anger to at times upset many of thy best laid plans. Also it makes the entity very active; also, as indicated in Mercury and Mars, at some times very careful as to what the entity does, or precautious - and these are misconstrued, because of thy tendency to be such a good spender when there is that to spend!
14. But find the spending rather in the gifts and graces of the Lord, and you will indeed find that which brings harmony, peace, grace, mercy and truth in the lives of others.
15. And in that way ye may so weld thyself into the hearts and minds of those whom ye attempt to aid in the physical ways. For ye know deep in thyself that all healing comes of the Lord, and there is not anything you may do save attune the body forces to the very vibration of the body itself to the awareness that God is, and is creative in its every purpose.
16. For, the ability of each functioning of the body-forces is to reproduce itself, and as long as this continues the body keeps not only young but active, - mentally, spiritually, physically - unless it be drugged by its own ego.
17. Also in Jupiter we find the interest in the universal consciousness, also in electrical forces. These, as a part of vibration, are a part of thine own experience.
18. As to the appearances in the earth - these we find quite varied in thy activities in the earth:
19. Before this the entity was in the land of the present nativity, among those that sought to gain place and position by following the search for gold.
20. And in the land of the present environs, but still farther to the west, did the entity - as Ann Huckler - make for some questioning experiences, and yet brought to the peoples much that builded for a stability through those experiences, that made the home the more worth while in those periods of activity.
21. Before that the entity was in the Norse land, when there were the first attempts for the settlings in the new land.
22. The entity then was in the opposite sex, and making for those activities in the seafaring individual, and - as it boasted of itself "rough and tough," and made many of the excursions into the various ports and lands. And that which eventually came to be the short way across New York State was a portion of the entity's own concept, in the early periods of the settlings in that part of the land; then as Jonathan Sidewelle.
23. In the experience the entity gained, through the lending of self in being a security for others, and brought periods of activity that were disappointing in the material but that in the mental and spiritual grew through those periods.
24. Hence the gentleness, and the ability to aid much through the patience of the entity in the present; though the entity would declare that it was very short at times. These arise from the abilities through that sojourn as the man.
25. Before that the entity was in the Persian and Arabian land, in those periods when there were the establishings of the healings that brought about the first usages of what today is called the hot and cold water treatment - or hydrotherapy, in combination with mechano-therapy, that was the experience of the teacher or leader who founded same in that period - Uhjltd.
26. Then the entity was an assistant to those activities from the Persian environ, being of those that were in the activities of the king's household in Persia; in the name Arlarmah.
27. The entity became an adept through those periods of activity in making the adjustments to the body-structural forces, in the releasing of those areas that caused pressure, by cold or congestion or such activities. For, the entity carried on that part of the work which had been a development of the entity Uhjltd through that particular period.
28. Hence in the present the abilities as a physician, as an orthopedic physician, as a mechano-therapist, as an electro or physio-therapist, ALL might be a part of the experience of the entity; for the entity is a good anatomist in the present.
29. Before that the entity was in the Peruvian land. For, with the first upheavals in Atlantis, the entity was among those who journeyed - though young in years - to what later became the Inca land.
30. All of those things pertaining to mountains, to Atlantean things, to ceremony, to things that have a basis of gold, become of interest to the entity.
31. The name through that experience was Caphala, and the entity was a companion to the leader of those peoples through a portion of their experience there.
32. As to the abilities of the entity in the present:
33. First, as indicated, - know thyself and thy relationships to the Creative Forces.
34. Then study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman not ashamed, but rightly dividing the words of truth, putting the emphasis upon that which is needed; keeping self from condemnation.
35. For, as ye mete to others it is measured to thee again.
36. Ready for questions.
37. (Q) Shall I plan to remain in my present profession the rest of this life, or would I be able to do more for humanity in some other line of work?
    (A) Rather spread out in that direction in which you are so capable.
38. (Q) Have been for 18 years a student of Rosicrucian Order, (A.M.O.R.C.) of San Jose, Calif. Shall I continue to study with them, or is there any other group that is better?
    (A) Self is quite different and quite better! For, when ye know self ye know the rest of the universe.
This may be well to use as a judgment. There is no better book than the 30th Deuteronomy!
39. (Q) What is the function of the pineal gland?
    (A) This we haven't in this life body. This would be sought rather through other approaches than the akashic records here.
40. (Q) Will I live to see this war ended and peace and happiness in America again?
    (A) The peace and the happiness must first be within self. You will be living when war is ended, but when peace is established - that's something else:
41. (Q) Did I have an incarnation in France during the time of the French Revolution?
    (A) This as we find is not so much a part of the experience as that in the early portion of the settlings in this land. The entity was associated with many of those in France, but not of the French Revolutionary period.
42. (Q) How can I make the most of the remaining years of my life?
    (A) By studying to show thyself approved unto God, day by day.
43. We are through for the present.

BACKGROUND

1. 5/13/44 Submitted questions for Life Reading.

REPORTS

1. 10/19/43 Dr. [3042] requested Physical Reading for patient, Case [3612].
2. 10/03/44 She sent renewal membership, saying: "Best wishes to all of you who are doing so much to classify and organize this information and make it available to the masses of humanity who are so hungry for it."
3. 11/15/51 Report: "My Life Reading gave me a clearer idea of my responsibility and ligation to serve humanity... In the past few years I have had what most individuals would consider a very rugged time - shocks, loss of health, great tension due to nervous exhaustion, etc. Then about a year ago this month I had a very bad fall which nearly put me on the shelf for keeps, but now I am finding much success and pleasure in Electric Diagnosis, which shows up in my Life Reading as being my work in former lives, and for which I seem especially fitted. Since my back and legs have given out I have to do something that does not involve lifting, or adjusting, or being on my feet very long at a time, and this diagnostic work fills the bill exactly. One door closed, but another opened."
4. 3/02/61 Friend, Mrs [...]'s letter in reply to "Project Repeat" questionnaire in re early American incarnation:
"Dr. [3042] passed on 2/25/58. I was very closely associated with her and knew of her reading and I am very sure she never followed up and tried to confirm any of her past incarnations. Sorry I can't be more helpful."
