GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions, as I ask them:
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3043] this we have had before.
As we find conditions are improved in the present. There are the effects of cold and congestion, with those tendencies for disturbance through the colon. Or the areas through which the lymph flows in the activity of the peristaltic movement of this portion of the colon become easily inflamed, because of the congestion which has existed there.
Since these have been bettered, we find that the occasional massage - once or twice a week, if there is inflammation - would be helpful. Begin in the lower portion of the right side, or in the caecum, and massage upward following the colon area itself, across the abdominal area and the umbilical center, across to the left side and then down. For this massaging, use an equal combination of mutton tallow (melted), Spirits of Turpentine and Spirits of Camphor. After this has been massaged into the body, then saturate a cloth with this mixture and apply over the abdominal area and the right side - of evening as the body rests. It may be removed before the body sleeps. It will keep the area not only pliable but tend to prevent accumulation of fecal forces in the activities of the system.
When there is any cold or congestion, use those properties that have been indicated, but made correctly - not as prepared before. Too strong a fusion was made, and thus caused such reactions as to become too violent for the body.
Do that and we will keep the general conditions better.
It would be well, for the better circulation in the body, to occasionally - two or three times during a month to have a hydrotherapy treatment, keep - a light sweat, a needle shower and Bubble Bath with Pine Oil, a thorough massage, and then a little of the ultra-violet ray, All of these would be well for the body to keep good circulation and good reactions throughout the body.

(A) As indicated before, this is the effect of congestion through the area, and the portion of the body through which the lymph flows. We have indicated here how to prevent it. Do it.

Dear Mr. Cayce,
Thank you very much for your "Reading" received two days ago. I am glad to get it, because I have been ill again with grip, & in Consequence the Colitis has been upset again. Yet I am so very careful what I eat - in fact, I am almost frightened to ever start fruit juices or fruit again. I still get tummy aches after a good meal & Sometimes I am very loose. I have ordered your prescription and so as soon as the chemist can get the Mutton Tallow he will make it up for me. I hope Mr. Reilly will be able to preserve the stuff. By the way, you mentioned a Doctor George N. Coulter at the end of your letter - for me to give a copy of the "Reading" to - don't you want Mr. Reilly's place to continue with my treatments? In your first Reading you gave the "Reilly" address, and I have only recently given him a cheque for $140.00 dollars for 25 treatments, So I shall have to use them. Surely he can give the prescribed treatments instead of the first ones you recommended? You also say that the fusion made was not correctly done before - It is a DIFFERENT fusion you have now recommended. So I Shall go by the Second one, I presume? And you have not told me whether to Stop the mixture (to be TAKEN). I haven't taken it for 10 weeks - Since had the ghastly Colitis, because I really didn't know what to do. When I first wrote you in the summer, my trouble was CONSTIPATION, migraine heads [headaches] & occasional turns of Colitis. So perhaps the mixture was good for that trouble, but wouldn't be any good for the LOOSENESS. You See, I am just the reverse today! Shall I disregard the first reading altogether & just carry on with the last and can "Reilly's" place give me the treatment you now prescribe, as I have paid $140.00 dollars for a long course? So Sorry to bother you, but I want to do the right thing & get well.

Dear Mrs. [3043] Thank you for yours of the 20th. Yes, I think you can carry out the suggestions in the reading with Dr. Reilly if you will give him the reading, but I would follow the last reading in preference to the first. I think if Colitis Medicine is needed, we can get it prepared for you now, for we have an excellent druggist who will prepare it for you, but at present I wouldn't do other than what is suggested in the last reading. I do hope everything will work out nicely for you now.

Dear Mr. Cayce,
Here I am again writing you -
I think I had better go back a bit, and tell you how I have felt since I last wrote to you.
I tried to get at least two treatments a week in at "Reillys" (fume cabinet, bubble bath of pine & good massage with the mutton tallow, turpentine & camphor). I enjoyed the treatments but the Colitis Continued. My blood COUNT got so low after 4 months of Colitis, So Doctor gave me Some pills of iron, liver & Vitamin B. Well, these stopped the mucous colitis RIGHT AWAY. Yet the pills were given to make BLOOD. It so thrilled me to keep a meal in my inside & I began to feel stronger. I continued with the treatment more than ever at Reillys & apart from complete constipation I felt better. I was terrified to Start Colitis again by taking a cathartic, So merely had an enema at night & Sometimes "Nujol" as a lubricant. Also an irrigation at Reillys once every three weeks. Then three weeks ago I came out in an awful rash on the bend of my arm & on my hand. Also irritation & bumps on my head. The rash drives me crazy. Doctor said it was "Dermatitis" perhaps caused through planting Primula plants - which I had been doing a MONTH before. But they were thrown away a good week before the rash appeared. I have been putting on pads of Burrows Solution 3 times a day, also an ointment (liquid) of olive oils & other things in it, to dab myself - and when itching is so awful "Calamine lotion", and STILL I have the rash! I am wondering what has caused the rash - whether it could be the pills I took for 6 weeks of iron, liver & Vitamin B (called Hepron brand) or taking "yogurt" twice a day. (But that has helped to pass wind & save a lot of pain between shoulders) or whether it could be the Primrose plants or any particular food. Cream Soap or Kitchen Cleaning Stuff? I do not dye my hair, so it cannot be that! Would you kindly have a check reading for me just as soon as you can? At present, I am unable to have the massage because of irritation & I miss it. I also stopped the pills.
5/07/44 QUESTIONS.
1. What is the Cause of the Dermatitis and twitching of left eye? 2. Could you suggest Something for my neuritis in arms & knees & to keep the bowels regular, without having daily enemas?
