TEXT

1. GC: You will answer the questions regarding this body as I ask them.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3051]; this we have had before.
3. As we find, there are improvements in many ways in the physical forces of this body. The applications that have been made through the hydrotherapy treatments have been well, and in accord with that given.
4. There are doubts and fears (that have been submerged in physical expression) finding manifestation in the physical being in self, and these must be met as they are indicated in the body. But do not become impatient with self nor the lack of those materializations at once of those hopes in the body. For ye grow in grace, in knowledge and in understanding. Where it has taken years to produce a fear, a doubt, an activity that begins to find manifestation in the twitching of a muscle, in the expansion of a vein, in the frustrations in the body forces, - be patient, be quiet within; and we will find those administrations that have been made - and that may be made - will aid thee in growing in the right directions.
5. For ye are made body, mind, soul. They each have their part in thy oneness, or they are one; as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is one. Yet each may function independently of the other - as the Son manifested in the earth could have, by choice, NOT gone the whole way.
6. As ye put thy trust, thy faith in Him, so in thy body, thy mind, thy soul, ye may not go astray save by choice. Keeping in the faith and in the way called straight, ye will come to a completeness, to a oneness of purpose in Him.

8. (Q) Are treatments being given correctly, if so why weren't results not attained; explain fully. Reilly asks if adjustment is necessary?
   (A) Had these not been necessary they would not have been indicated. They ARE necessary. Have these made osteopathically, not in the same places as the hydrotherapy treatments; that is go to an osteopath, see?
9. (Q) Is that part of colon which hemorrhages ulcerated and how can normal elimination be established so that this condition may heal permanently, is this possible or would an operation help or will cathartics have to be resorted to for life?
   (A) As indicated these fears and doubts become localized. In this particular instance, to correct these conditions, we would use a compound prepared in this manner. This is merely added and is not to do away with any of those things suggested for the body.
   To four ounces of Elixir of Lactated Pepsin add - in the order named:

   A Fusion of Wild Ginseng....................1 ounce,
(It would be made by putting one dram
of the Ginseng, ground or mashed, in
two ounces of distilled water and
reducing by simmering to one ounce.
Strain and add to the Elixir.)
A Fusion of Wild Ginger (made in the
same manner)...........................1/2 ounce.

   Shake the solution before it is to be taken. Take one teaspoonful each day for five days. Then leave off for five days. Then take again, and again. And by the third series you should have taken the whole quantity and should find the condition corrected - provided the other treatments have been carried forward as indicated.
10. (Q) Why are veins in legs and feet becoming prominent, especially in left calf, what treatment follow?
    (A) This is not a great change. This is part imagination. But these should disappear if the corrections are made osteopathically as indicated, in the lumbar and sacral and at the head of the sciatic centers. Take the bicycle exercise also - this will be effective for the body.
11. (Q) What steps taken to restore usefulness of left thumb. Was tendon sewed, explain?
    (A) The massage of this daily with Sweet Oil or Camphorated Oil will now prove the most helpful. Of course, this is where a tendon has been not only pinched but has become in part atrophied. This will be aided, not entirely restored, but may be used again. Keep using it; not as one that you can't get along without; but every day or two before retiring, massage it yourself for five to six minutes with the oil - just what it will absorb. Extend this to the wrist and to the elbow and this will aid.
12. (Q) Gums and SORE BRIDGE not responded, why?
    (A) If you'll keep up the treatments and the things suggested, they will.
13. (Q) Give report on teeth and how keep them for life?
    (A) Better go to the dentist to have much of this done! For this particular body, these may be kept by the use of Ipsab occasionally as a massage for the gums, and then taking care of those activities that are to supply sufficient calcium to the body at the periods when cycles change. Cycles change for the teeth during the second year of each cycle. During that year take at least three to four series of Calcios or its equivalent to supply calcium to the system, and it will aid not only the teeth but all the activities of the thyroid glands.
14. (Q) Why did I have migraine attack on the 13th after so many treatments?
    (A) These were a part of the experience. These should or will come until the body, mind and soul are one in purpose.
15. (Q) Pain and tiredness in the eyes?
    (A) Overtaxation. Taking the head and neck exercises regularly will relieve this condition.
16. (Q) Will canichrome tablets I take restore color of hair?
    (A) NO! If the juice of potato peelings is taken regularly (two or three times a week) it will keep the hair nearer to its normal color than all other forms of chemical preparations.
17. (Q) How eliminate dryness to hair and skin?
    (A) Just as given, when there is a perfect condition in the scalp, in the activities of the thyroid, by - keeping a correct balance, the oil, the dryness, the color will be normal for the body. Don't try to make something abnormal for self that should be this or that condition.
18. (Q) What preparations help keep firm muscles in face and neck?
    (A) The Black and White are the better preparations for keeping muscles, or the whole body, or the face, in the proper condition. These would be used after a thorough cleansing with any good toilet soap, preferably that prepared with Olive Oil, or Coconut Oil rather than other characters of fats.
19. (Q) Explain meaning of my seal and why I have it, how benefit from this?
    (A) We haven't the seal, in this.

1. 10/04/43 Mrs. [3051]'s ltr. to EC:
   Dear Mr. Cayce:
   I can't begin to tell you how happy I was to have the reading. In the first reading nothing was said about the treatment on the spine other than massage so Reilly had only that. However I wasn't at peace as something seemed to tell me it wasn't enough. Also you remember I didn't get the full results, improvement yes. With this ck. reading it stated that the treatment is to be given osteopathically and (I had the first Saturday with Egan [Wm.] who gives [2981] his. I think that is it and while giving me the treatment he commented on how stiff my back was and said it was like a board.
   I am taking the treatment first prescribed and am adding the osteopathic treatments, is this how you'd understand it too. I didn't know whether you wanted the massage treatments too so I wouldn't take a chance and leave them out UNLESS you said to... My routine is this, first the hydrotherapy about 8 minutes now, then the vapor bath for the same time, then the needle baths, hot and cold, followed by massage with the special mixture and the Egan takes over and I add the osteopathaic treatment. The massage is about 45 minutes. If you think there should be any change just tell me.
   In the ck. these are some things I don't think I am quite straight on, so I'll appreciate it if you'll explain them a bit further.
   1. For the Elixir: Is this to heal the colon, or it is a cathartic or both? Is it to be made by me or shall I have a druggist make it, can they be trusted to make it exactly as prescribed?
   2. About the teeth, in taking the treatment of Calcios, I don't know whether I understand the cycles correctly. They change every seven years. Figuring 45 years would mean the third year of the sixth cycle which I take it to mean, one year too late for the sixth cycle and that the treatment couldn't be taken till the 51st year. That would be the second yr. of the 7th cycle. Wouldn't that be a long time to wait to help these teeth?
   3. About the potato peel, the note said to cut them up into water, does this mean they are not to be BOILED in water? If boiled how long, if peels are to just stand in cold water how long before drinking should they be left?
   4. For keeping the muscles firm where do you get the Black and White, who makes them and what is the trade name. [2982] feels she needs such a preparation but was ashamed to ask for it, so I did and want to know if she can use it??? 5. What is meant by overtaxation of the eyes. I have been keenly aware of my eyes for the past thirteen years. It's a long time to have pain and a tired feeling in an organ you use so much. In other people when they have glasses it ceases and they don't know they have eyes anymore than they are conscious of breathing or a heart beat. My sight seemed to be fairly good by the occultist increased their strength to offset the pains. Neck exercises are given so will you tell me just what kind, at the moment I'm just rolling my head around, first one way and then the other. This is one of the three big troubles I am seeking to overcome, the other is the elimination and the third is the migraine. About the migraine, since it's part of the experience that I would be happier without, in your opinion what is the shortest path for THIS BODY to attain this oneness! Must every commandment be kept to attain this oneness?
   I forgot to ask if while taking the Elixir am I allowed to continue taking the zymenol I already take for elimination? Incidentally I had another attack of the bleeding this morning and that always seems to bring down my vibrations.
   My sister's birthday is the 13th of this month and I wanted to know if you'd have a copy of the book, A Search For God, sent to her for me. She read my copy and loved it. The name is Mrs. [3379], ..., N.J. I'll enclose it on a separate slip for you and am enclosing the money.

   In the meantime shall I take a drug for migraine attack, IF and when I have another??? If so what drug do you recommend. I used to take aspirin until I studied metaphysics and then relied with the help of my teacher on God. I believed they returned WHEN he withdrew his support OR when I didn't go as often having completed the classes. It's such a big problem to me since - don't seem to understand as much as you do about them.

   Thank you very much for yours of the fourth. I am glad indeed that you were pleased with your reading, and I hope that you will now get real results in same.
   Yes, the adjustments and the massage are both needed. I would keep them up just as they are being given. The Elixir, as is given, is to be healing for the colon, and is also to help eliminations. I think you need not worry about the cycle just now. It is in the change, to be sure, but just when or whether it all goes along at once, I don't know, but I think the Calcios will add something to the general welfare as well as specific activity of the thyroid glands.
   About the potato peel, just peel the potatoes and do whatever you want with the potato, but save the peeling. Then put them on and cook them real done. Don't let the water boil away, because that is what you want to drink. What would be a good mess of potatoes, what you would have to drink would be about two ounces, so you would put it on to about a pint or a pint and one half of water, and let it boil with the potato peeling in it, of course.
   I understand Black and White, it is called Genuine Black and White, is the name of the cream. I don't know why or how the information has selected this cream, but it has been giving it for some time. I guess for ten or fifteen years. I don't know whether the name of the concern is Black and White that manufactures it or not, but you should be able to find it in most any drug store.
   Overtaxing of the eyes, I think means that you strain them in either too subdued light or too strong light.
   The head and neck exercise is usually as this, and if you do it, have a regular time to do it, morning and evening. As usual, take it just before retiring and the first thing before you dress in the morning. Sit down when you begin it, at least, because you will get dizzy when you first begin. Three times forward, just the head, slowly bent all the way down to your chest, and then three times backward, slowly as far back as you can put it. Then three times to the left side, and three times to the right side. Then the circular motion, going clockwise, and then three times going to the other way. Don't go too fast, but do it every day for at least two weeks. I think you will see a whole lot of difference. Be sure while you are taking the elixir, you take the symenol [zymenol?] if it is needed.
   We are sending A SEARCH FOR GOD to Mrs. [3379]. Thank you a lot. Now about the appointments. I am afraid we are going to have a lot of disappointments to you about this. The mental and spiritual reading for yourself was set for November 8. I am going to have to change this to February 11, in the morning, 10:30 to 11:30 EWT. As you see, I will be on the road to New York at that time, and it would be impossible for me to to get it. I am having to break one for Mrs. [2982] also...

   Dear Mr. Cayce:
   I can't begin to tell you how wonderful it was seeing you again. It gave me such a lift I was singing around here for days. It makes me realize all over again how much we miss by your being so far from us.
   You completely captivated my husband [3436] for which I'm most grateful. I believe it is your influence that is sending him with me tonight to the opening of a BIBLE CLASS. To be sure it won't compare with yours but for whatever it is I am truly thankful.
   I want him to grow with me and I've had a bit of trouble over it. His business can make so many claims on him but if he stays close to you I'm sure I'll have no difficulty. With this in mind, I'm going to take some part of the time I made for my family for His readings, I especially want to get the JOINT reading in a hurry to clear up many things and help me build up others. Two have already sent in their applications and when I talk to the other two about taking some of their time then we'll all send ours in. I know the time is very short but they will get in on time.
   [3436] thought you were a great success, he admired so many things about you the main one being your utter simplicity however like us he also thought you were out of your environment but then not knowing any better they no doubt did their best. Next time it will be DIFFERENT!
   Will you send me six bottles or what ever you have of the Calcios tablets and let me know how much they are and I'll send you a ck. for them. This will be a great help since you know I couldn't reach them from here.
   I didn't get my allowance yet and it's a day late. The market broke and he bought heavily however he should manage so that his business activities do not interfere with any- thing that BELONGS to me. It seems the rent gets paid, the food is paid and everyone else gets theirs BUT when it comes down to ME *** Don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming him for what I've brought into my experience as I'm reaping what I've sown somewhere but I'd like to know what it is so I'd stop sowing. I think the JOINT reading will clear this up. I don't mean he leaves me penniless and I do have charge accounts in every store in N.Y. BUT I want a REGULAR allowance that I can DEPEND on to do with whatever I choose. In other words he shouldn't know all my business. One would think I had four or five gigolos!
   You remember when I first had my readings I had [2982] send you a ck. for me as I didn't want him to know in case there was anything in the reading he shouldn't see. Now this should not be necessary. Then I just told him he owed [...] that much money and he paid her. This makes me unhappy and throws the thyroid gland out, if you get what I mean.
